If you have read any of my previous posts, Im new to the game but Im out there.. I got my book three weeks ago and I have opened a tf#, have one buyer on my buyers list, found a mortgage broker and looking for a Agent.

I sent the email as suggested in Profit From Real Estate right now to various real estate agents.. I was emailed back by one who responded:

Hi DG Family! My name is Amy and I'm pretty fresh at this. I hope this is the right place to put this stuff because I'm a little lost in the sea of information and wanted to let someone know, besides my coach, that I joined the Success Academy on January 12 of this year and I just bought my first house!

O.k. here it is. I have been on this website long enough and plan now on getting serious about REI. It seems like I can always find an excuse for not buckling down and really get involved. So, I have found a real estate agent that wants to work with me in my hometown. I have looked at some properties and will be making some offers by the end of the week. One of the properties I found was on Craig's List and looks to be a definite possibility. The owner lives out of state and can't get back here for two weeks. I also went driving around town and found this FSBO that is in bad repair. I called the guy and he has gutted the house but doesn't have the time to finish it. I will look at the inside on Thursday and make a list of costs to complete the project, then shoot him an offer.

So I bought Dean's books a few months ago when I was out of work, I really liked everything in his books and learned a lot in the process. Real estate investing is something that I have always wanted to do to achieve financial freedom one day and enjoy life and not have to worry about the bills every month. In the process I met with some local real estate investors in my area (Denny & Lea) in October who also taught me a lot about real estate and to get out there and just do it. At the end of October 2009 I finally got a job after 8 months of being out of work and I begin to lose focus on Real Estate and begin to focus on my job.

1)Can someone please explain how wholesaleing works?

Have you ever come up with thought provocative ideas while driving your car, or while doing some chore? Ideas that, if acted upon, may have created you more time, more pleasure, or even more wealth. I call them "brain farts." Everyday I have brain farts concerning my real estate investment career. I even wake up in the middle of the night and have to record them on a dictation machine before I am able to go back to sleep.

I intend to share my thoughts with you. You may swipe them and incorporate them in your investment career any way you see fit.

Today's Brain Fart has to do with what I noticed while driving on a busy interstate during rush hour.

Hi everyone!

I'm new and this is my journal. I'm presently reading and taking notes from "Profit From Real Estate Right Now". I will use the step method to try to keep organized. I think this will help me but I'm open to any and all suggestions. I'm excited and ready to get started!!! I will write later.

New here just getting started.. Got me a TF# as suggested in DG latest book.. Im really excited and fortunately my friends and family are just as excited about this as I am.

I read the sections for finding motivated sellers and buyers over and over again and like it said, got a tf#,made my msgs (this was on 2/8/2010) and just started putting out my flyers today..
