I am going full force.

Hi everyone!
I want to be accountable for my actions and daily activities. I am determined to keep a REI journal and be accountable. Again I am thankful for Dean for making available such a powerful tool to me.

My first REI club meeting

I attended my first REI club meeting and got some great info. The guy who put on the meeting offered to work with new investors. We split the profit 50/50 and he will work with me on as many deals as I want or none if I dont want his help. He is a successful local investor and I think I can learn a lot from him.

Overall it was well worth my time. And it is only $100 a year to be a member of this club.

So far networking is going well.

=/..So...I've used my EBT-card to purchase 1 bandit sign to split into 2, 4 sticks(stability), n a maker i think imma return=/ cuz..=) immma put alil of my seasoning on'm to catch the eye. Targeted specifically for nod's/prefor/short sale. Use my personal # cuz..=/..quite frankly..i can't afford the automated voice-mail set-up, but i believe if the sun rises i'll soon establish that tool n optimize it to its fullest potential. In the mean time(10:55pm/cali)imma go and put these 2sign's out there and rock the show...have no idea how its gonna go..=)but soon i'll know.

My Journals

Well today I am going back over lease to buy I have a lot of retail buyer and I'm happy about that and my investor buyer are come on a little slow. I'm still working on building my web site. I'm Call owner to setup time to see the property. Sometime I step back because overwhelm with information, I tell myself you can do this. One of my goal will be coming soon and I don't want to say that word but I tell myself it will happen. I can come here when I'm down or happy today I want that home owner to call me and tell me I got that property. Well my phone ringing again got to go.

Wanted! Multi-Units...Max@$1.5M..ASAP

Greetings All,
I have access to hard money and investors that are seeking to purchase multi-units. They are seasoned investors and will partner with me on my first multi-unit deal. And, what a deal that will be!

Does anyone have an inventory or know of a deal that would fall within this category? If so, pleae send offer package and rent roll.

Just starting. excited, but looking for ways to get involved in this wonderful support group i've been reading about in everyones blog. It's nice to know your not alone and that there are so many members to share ideas, triumphs, and of course failures with.

I am also learning how to go beyond my current computer skill level, which is about equivlent to my 8 yr old daughter. In other words I hope i'm posting this in the correct area of the website.

Trust in the Lord and hope I'm hearing the right messages.

JUST STARTING

Hi, this is my first post. I have two of deans books.. I know investing in real estate is for me.. I have bad credit, not much money saved, and a job i want to leave
I've made my first calls to seller from newspaper ads. Made 5 calls
:2 homes where sold already
:2 were investors themself(both flip properties)so I got their info for my buyers lists.
: the last seller is 3 months behind in payments(pre-foreclosure)..that all she told me bcause she was driving..I will call her tomm.. will try lease option w/ assignment clause or owners financing.. any advise will be appreciated. thanks angelo42

Ellen & John K's REI Journal

John and I have been trying to get our business off the ground for over a year. We joined Armando's training course and found that it was irrelevant to the current economy. With bad credit and no money we have floundered for a year. We ordered and received Profit from Real Estate Right Now sometime in October. I'm the reader in the family but not such a fast one. I finished the book in February. It really excited me and I passed on the info to John. We have everything in order except the realtor, who we are meeting with on Saturday 3/20/10. She seams to be the classic "A" personality and has been in real estate for 32 years. I hope she is a winner. My only issue is that I am not confident enough to determine the FMV of houses in my area. I use TotalView but I'm still nervous.

Do you ever feel like the more you make the less you can buy? Are you one missed paycheck away from going under? I don't pose these questions to bring you down, I pose these to ask what is your sense of urgency? The reason you buy less and less every year is your raises are 1% or 2% when inflation is 3% or 4%. If your not keeping up with inflation how can you get ahead.

Today I found out that my employer wants to get rid of our insurance and retirement. This may be happening to you too. So you can see that the sooner we are in charge of paying ourselves and not relying on someone else the quicker we can get ahead and out of the rat race.

Quick question about setting up my journal

I've noticed every time I go to my journal, it starts at the very 1st page, the very 1st entry. Is there a way to setup the journal so when I click on my journal it goes to the last entry I read? Just wondering, it would make it so much easier to track and respond, and encourage more people to read it. I've searched for this and couldn't find it. If its a repeat question, can anyone please redirect me? Thanks!
