Happy New Years everyone!
My name is Daniella, and my mom and I are attending the 3 day workshop in New Orleans on the 7th, 8th, and 9th. We purchased Dean's packet and are learning so much! We're super excited to get started and so ready for the new change in our lives this New Year!

So I have some questions:
Is anyone going to the same workshop?
Any advice?
What were your experiences?
Anyone in Louisiana? Or close by like MS, Al?
Anything?

I'm really excited to get started. I can't wait to make my first deal! I'm happy to be a part of Dean's success academy!

Today is a time to think about where your was a year ago and where you going tobe in the NEW YEAR. I see myself closing deals and meeting alot of new people. I wish all my DG Families a GREAT NEW YEAR. Where are you going to be in 20011?

-Found excellent deals via contacts I have with realtors in my area (Home for 200K under value)

-Found multiple buyers using **** (Free)

-With the help of a local lawyer, put together good assigment contract

-Profit 5K for assigning contract in just 6 days

Anyone in Oregon? I haven't seen any posters from the NW Area let alone from Oregon. You have to have your black belt in real estate transactions here. I just started to lock in my first deal but... the real estate agent on the house started to call 911 - he said I am committing fraud and I'll be arrested. Oregon has some of the toughest real estate laws in the Country. For example, contracts are non-assignable. I've had to hire an attorney for 10's of thousands of dollars to get help in writing up different contracts, how to avoid fraud ect.....

Homes in other States are a breeze to sell - it's easy to find a home under 50k in NV or AZ. Homes in Oregon can sell for over a Million. Monthly rent would be north of $7,500.

Hello DG Family--

As this is my first post, I should start off by giving a small amount of information about myself.

I am currently attending a university in Illinois, soon to be graduating with a 4.0 and double bachelor degrees in Finance and Insurance. I always pictured myself dressed suit and tie, crunching numbers for a large corporation doing investments of a sort or handling assets as finance is really my main interest. I also have been saying for the last 3 years that I eventually want to get into real estate, however I have no money, and money is what you need to get into it..

Today I lister to Dean blog as i lister I was thinking about the time I wanted to call it quick, but with the people on this site help me to move on and I thanks you all so must. I'm still working at it I have a owner that was going to sell me her 3 bedroom home,but at the last minute she change her mind on owner financial so now I'm looking for a private lender to get the fund to purchase it. I have a tenant that will move inn in Jan rent is $1690 Mo. Well I will find someone soon. Because she want to sell and I want that house.

Hello to all DGer's I just want to start this out by saying that I am indeed new to the REI game but anyways I know it all started for me about a month ago when I was up late one night and saw Dean's infomercials. I've seen them from time to time before I actually stopped and listened to what he had to say that one night. I know I always recalled seeing him when I was flipping through the channels but I always thought that it was just "another" infomercial trying to get my money! For some reason or another I stopped and watched the entire infomercial and after that I knew that something hit me but I wasn't quick to take action I wanted to do some research and find out more and the more and more I discovered the more and more I got excited!! I thought about Dean's program and books etc for a few more days and asked myself what do I have to lose? So I went to the local bookstore picked up B.A.R.M and profit from real estate right now. I read all of B.A.R.M and man was my whole concept of REI broadened I was so amped and I then purchased your town your real estate profits along with think a little different about real estate and I can surely say I do now 110%!!! I will say with it being the holiday season I've been a little slow to take action and start changing my financial future so to say but now that everything is over with (for the most part) I am definitely starting out the new year with a bang (and just to throw a side note in I forgot to mention I am currently in Dean's success academy and am learning A LOT!!) I've got goals and I know with every action I take I will be a little closer and I will say these REI goals are gonna start small for now but as time passes I know they will get bigger and better NO DOUBT! I pretty much stay on DG.com for answers, support, motivation and anything else that will help me along the way to my "American Dream". I also see all of you guys........and girls on here and what you do that gives me great inspiration to keep moving forward no matter what! And I know how to do that believe me I've had experience, I have recently came home from a tour in Afghanistan and learned a lot while over there to say the least but I now see real estate as something new, fun, and very exciting for me!! I can honestly say I don't think I've been excited and highly motivated like this about anything (besides coming home from deployment lol!) I know that I've made a choice to change my future for the better and let NOTHING stop it. I know I'm just a youngbuck but I know there's no time like the present, and with all the knowledge I've gained so far from Dean's material to all of you here on DG.com and the motivation and determination moving me forward I know nothing will be impossible with REI!! I just want to thank you all for everything that ya'll do especially Dean Graziosi himself because without his knowledge and wisdom well I don't think I'd even be on DG.com in the first place!! I WILL BE GIVING UPDATES AS OFTEN AS I CAN to be able to let everyone know what's going on and to be able to look back one year, two years, even ten years from now to see where it all started. I'M going after this American Dream MY American Dream and gonna take action, take down those goals and set even higher ones. 2011 WILL BE MY YEAR and every year after that for that matter!! As I said previously I will give updates as OFTEN as I can. Here's to 2011......May I wish you all the best and much much success!!

Our names are Fernando and Isabel. We just bought the real estate package and we are having the 3-day workshop next week.

We are just wondering what it is all about. What we should expect. We have read the books, seen the videos and heard the cds. Should we have some prospect deals and inofrmation ready for the workshop?

We have read so many stories and can't wait to begin with this journey, and make a difference in this upcomming year 2011!!

The last couple of days have been so exciting. A few months ago I posted some Ad's on Craigslist and finally I got the call I wanted to hear, an Investor like myself with some propertys. Right off the bat I had a few buyers on my list, but no propertys. I keeped in contact with them and tryed not to let them slip away. With a little patience, I finally feel things are coming together. One of the biggest things to have in this game is patience... Now after e-mailing my new best friend, Im hoping to have my fist deal under my belt.
