14Jan2011 ... after watching Dean's different infomercials a few times over the past few months, I finally made the 1st step in ordering the materials. Where am I? I have yet to receive the materials orderd, but have registered for the online community, and for access to the TotalViewRealEstate, set an appointment to visit with a local real estate agent, viewed the calendar of events on a local REI club website, written my goals (long, medium, short, immediate), taken a look at ads of real estate for sale on craigslist, begun to design print it yourself flyers and business cards.
Received an email from the office that my order is on its way.

How long does it takes to build good business credit? Does anyone knows?

This week and last week has been my best weeks thus far. I met an investor that buys property undergoing foreclosure. I met him at a DG Seminar last week on 1/12/2011. We met again in his office on Friday, 1/14/2011, he explained to me what he does. He mainly works with people undergoing foreclosures. He explained to me what he looks for, and showed me how it all worked. I contacted a prospective client that I met sometime earlier, who has been unsuccessfully trying to negotiate with his bank about his residence. The 3 of us met on Saturday 1/15 to discuss the client's situation.

Let's start with some history and background:

Hi there everyone! My name is Liberty. I have to confess I've had Dean's book for over 2 years now. I've been trying to get where I want to be for so long. I've always started out trying to do baby steps, but then I overwhelm myself because I want it all and I want it all to happen right now! I'm 26 years old, and feel soooo very behind in life. I've been engaged for about 2 years, but we are unable to get married because we have no money, and we are in debt to our eye balls. I'm working full time now as a bookkeeper, so my time is more limited. I know that this is our solution. I know this is where we need to be.

Journal Entry: "In the beginning".... 1/18/2011

I ordered Deans' books last Tuesday, (1/11/11) and they have yet to arrive. I am so anxious, it has me pacing the floor.
As a catalyst for comfort, I've decided to pick apart this site to obtain all the information i can. I am starving for knowledge and am more motivated than ever.
Just to provide a little background on me, and my situation, the following jargon is a bases for what i hope others will have to compare their current status to.
I was unemployed from Feb.2008 to Aug. 2010, went through a divorce, lost my house, my kids, my car, MY LIFE! Don't get me wrong, although I should be, I am NOT bitter, I am DRIVEN!

My ignorance about online blogs etc. is really hurting us. I have been trying for a week to get an ad posted on Craigslist. We have homes (our personal homes not rentals for fsbos in Oregon and California). Therefore, we would like to do some deals in both areas. I have tried posting a ghost ad to draw buyers and it keeps getting kicked off. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix it. Each ad I have tried to post is specific to the area that I have tried to put it on Craigslist. Thanks in advance for your help.

Well I guess it is about time to update the title and such on here a little and go with new times and not the time when I started way back when. When I started in investing I was driving 18 Wheelers all through the U.S and now I am local trying to make this work. It has come to the point now I do not do much for myself but instead for the family that I have and really care about more than anything. If they are not happy then I am not either. I have tried a couple of things in the area where I live, such as buying notes, and real estate investing. I have several books and the course think a little different as well. I am starting back to day one when I got my first book and see where this gets me.
