Decided to add a little about me, will finish at a later date.
Im currently about a year and 3 months from graduating from a central Illinois university with a 4.0 (i like to say this). If i stay on track, i should have two shiny degrees from my double major, one in Finance, and one in Insurance. Been on the edge of stepping down from the Insurance one in order to take more finance classes that interest me, however i think my plan is to stick it out. I'm pretty spontaneous so that could change in a matter of hours.. I'm from a very small, central Illinois town as well.
Currently reading Dean's 3 books, i have one done, in progress with the other two. The areas of real estate that catch my interest right now is wholesaling, assignments, and Lease/Options. I have mid-game goals to own/rent out properties in the future, once i snag a steady job after graduation to allow me financing (Very excited for this). However for now, im strictly trying to find a "in" to real estate that allows No-Money down techniques for myself, while helping people find money in their distressed properties, while ALSO finding great deals for investors!
My location areas of interest include decent sized cities, all of which have college housing (which is something i feel can bring in massive passive income with rent). These areas are the ones i am most familiar with and include Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, and Galesburg. Once i get the ball rolling, i plan to target distressed properties for deals!
Random thought.. Still searching for a summer internship in my major or management.
Thats about all i can ramble off on for now, if anyone has any interest in talking about real estate with me, or helping me get a better start, feel free to contact me!
