First...Dean THANK YOU for this website and all of your books, the IE system, for caring so dang much for wanting us to succeed. I want to thank all the dgers for all the support and inspiration that y'all give. I need this journal to stay focused and accountable so I can be totally free and totally fulfilled!
I have had more emotions and ah ha moments lately, its been almost two weeks since I came off of cymbalta, its the first time in 11 years...I am medicine free! :)I still have pain, I try to use all the technology that I can, I have a Dragon speak so I don't have to type.
So you wanna be a guru, do you?
October 28th, 2012 | posted by ArmchairDeityI've been in technology for 22 years. I spent the first few years taking care of computers and networks for end users, and the last few years writing web-based applications for a platform/language called ColdFusion, currently owned by Adobe.
I have no college degree. I have a tech school Associates in copier and typewriter repair, which is where I got my first exposure to networking, but that's the extent of my higher education. In fact I was homeschooled and never really did much schooling past 9th grade... which sounds bad until you realize that I was reading Shakespeare at age 5 and tested out with a 9th grade math level in 3rd grade.

My immediate goals are 1) Network with others on this site 2) Read, read, read! 3) Find a real estate club 4)Find a mentor 4) Begin finding my power team 5)Build my buyers list 6) Look for prospects to match my buyer's criteria.
What I am looking to accomplish in 2013: Do 1-3 wholesale deals. As long as I do one, I will feel like I accomplished enough. Who knows, I may surprise myself and do even more than 3. But I think 1-3 is a reasonable goal for now.

This website is AMAZING for getting information and learning techniques and strategies from other investors. It blows other websites OUT of the water!
I'm going to do something a little different for you. You won't be successful unless you have or build a mindset to USE that information, and that is the aim and goal of this journal. I want to get you to get out and USE the information you're learning in Dean's books, blogs and this website. This thread is going to be strictly about MINDSET! Here's your own slice of MINDSET training to put alongside the main course of knowledge and strategy training.

October 26th, 2012 | posted by JWL06i know your not supposed to think and just do, but thinking is what i do i look at things from all the angles. and i was talking with my agent/broker today and i thought to myself if i was licensed i wouldn't really need them id have all the tool to myself. then a thought his me... is dean licensed?! it would make sense to be it obviously couldn't hurt. .... btw my agent broker is married into my family soo we were just talking about it and i got curious, and also started thinking how many people on here are licensed?! why not just become legit and start doing it?! cut the middle middle man, i think im going to. what do my fellow DGers think?!

I have read Deans' book "How to Profit from Real Estate RIGHT NOW," i have gone through the edge program, and now I'm actually in the game. Dean Graziosi and Ali Safavi are my heroes, I intend to follow EXACTLY in their footsteps by doing EXACTLY what they say.
As of right now I have a already incorporated my company, Neo Acquisitions, LLC, I have a business bank account, I have 12 Cash buyers in my metroplex, and I have 2 realtors that are looking up properties for me.
