Hello DG family, I know I said that I was going to contact an attorney today but I allowed time to get away from me. I don't accept that set back so I will be on top of that first thing in the morning. That will lead me to the point of making offers, (having legal council to look over all my paperwork and guide me in that area). I've secured a title company, and an agent. I guess I should have went after an attorney first but, better late than never. These are only a few of the professionals that I have planned for my "Success Team". I have a lot more contacts to make.

New to the boards, which level of Success Academy would you recommend, if any?
December 4th, 2009 | posted by AllsportsnutI am just getting into Dean's program. I've read the first two books that I received from his recent infomercial each once and plan on rereading both to them. I am new to real estate and am seriously considering signing up for the Success Academy. I just have a couple questions for folks who have already been in my shoes.
1) Was the Success Academy real people with real experience and was it hands on, not just telling you to go do research elsewhere.
Agent
December 3rd, 2009 | posted by lbrownI made contact with an agent that I interviewed over the phone today. She was very helpful with any and all questions I had. It appears she's willing to assist me in my success. My time frame didn't allow me to contact any lawyers today but it is a priority on my TO-DO list tomorrow. As I said before,I'm not going in any structured order but I am getting things done.

Leslie's journal (Question)
December 3rd, 2009 | posted by lbrownI'm starting my buyer's list, could I use phone numbers from the classified section "HOMES FOR SALE"? I'm asking because aren't these investors also? It may work 2 fold, they may also be good sellers. What do you think?

December 3rd, 2009 | posted by SPORTAs shared in another journal, I chose to jump on board Dean's Success Academy to boost my knowledge and get a head start on a new career. This adventure began on 12/01/2009.
This journal is specifically dedicated to my R.E. actions gained from following my advisors. And as such, will describe what works or did not work in my geographic location.
Jordan's Seattle Real Estate Journal
December 3rd, 2009 | posted by drplunk05A big HELLO from the Emerald City (Seattle) to all my fellow investors out there at DG.com.. My name is Jordan and I'm 22yo. My motivation for Investing is to make Retirement possible for my mom. She loves her job and is quite happy, but i want her to have the option to step back and relax any time she wants. Its the least i can give her after all she's given me
I've had Dean's book "BARM" for about a yr, and have been trying to make things happen off and on for a while.
I feel Blessed to have come across Dean's Inspiring Material. It has allowed me to dream bigger for myself, my family, and my friends. And I can't wait for the Road that lies a Head.

December 2nd, 2009 | posted by acoffeltSo tonight I just finished my Goal Sheet.
I wrote at the top "I CAN DO IT". I told you this would be my mantra.
#1 is Build a buyers list of 10 buyers over next 30 days. I wrote how with detailed instructions on how to do this.
Example: Find local property managers to find owners/landlords.
#2 Find motivated sellers
Also with detailed instructions on how to do this.
#3 Call and speak to 10-20 money lenders to find at least one to fund my first deal.
Not to quit until I succeed!
#4 Be organized and professional.
This includes keeping phone numbers and e mail categorized.

The Journey to Freedom
December 2nd, 2009 | posted by cmlooseHi. I thought it would help me with my success to have a journal. I am single mom to a beautiful 16 year old daughter who is going to Germany for rotary foreign exchange program. She is my why for this REI adventure that will lead to my financial success and freedom. The only thing I'm fighting is myself. I am wealthy. I am free. I am a real estate tycoon.
