Investing Journals

RErookie's Journal

My goal at this time is to wholesale properties and build up some cash in order to take it to the next level. I'm not really a rookie at RE or investing. I know how to assign, double close and all that. I've read DG book back and forth and forth to back. And his information is very helpful. Thanks Dean.

Back to my goals. I just want to have a stronger buyers list. Also I've been looking into other RE opportunities such as probate and I found the jackpot of information. Such as where the property is and the attorney who's in charge. But after I get more info on probate, then I'll make my move.

I'll try my best to keep track of this journal. And track my progress.

Kevin's Journal

Hello all, My name is Kevin, I live in Ky. My REI started many years ago, as I once was an agent. I knew I always wanted to be in real estate from an early age, bought every thing I could get my hands on, nothing worked until now. 5/2010, purchased Deans books PFRERN. and BARM. read through them in about two days. Got motivated, got started, and in less than 2 weeks, got my first deal together. Made 2K in profit for about 2 hrs worth of work. And in the mean time, made homeowner happy, and helped a family looking to purchase a house, that wasn't able to traditional financing. I have met so many wonderful people on here, and all are so very supportive. I believe when you help others succeed, you too will succeed!

I failed but made it a sucess.

I bought deans book last october right as my ship was sinken. Well I read the book and checked out website, set up free website that I have yet to figure out how

Jiggy's Journal

Hi everyone

My name is David and I live in CT. I bought Dean's book about six months ago and have been checking out this site quite often.

Unfortunatley I just lost my job recently and have very little money but I am very excited to take my first step into the world of REI!

I would like to invest in properties in the Tampa Bay Area. If there is anyone on here in that area, any help would be great. I am interested in doing assignments, lease options, and flipping homes.

That's about all for now, I look foward to making friends and contacts on this site soon and getting ready to live the life we all deserve!

David's Journal

Hello,

Well my name is David and I though keeping a journal every day of what i have done and not done would be a great way to keep my head out of the sand and stay motivated. I will admit i am a type of guy that wants results right NOW, but i also understand real estate is not some over night scam. I have been pushing hard to make things happen, a bit slow i think but moving is better then working 9-5 for ever.

SJ_Backholm's Investment Journal

Hello everyone,

I am new to the site but very excited to be here with all of you. I decided to start this journal to document this new chapter of my life as a real estate investor.

I have been toying with the idea of getting into real estate investment for about 2 years now. Ive met so many people who have created the life of their dreams through real estate, but honestly I just didn't know where to begin & was far too timid to ask how they got started.

Some of the things you face! not for the fainthearted..

Hey Dger's, Just closed on my first deal last week, in the process, I sandwiched leased this property, the owners son, who is 23, had been staying and still is in the property. He did not want to go! (Free rent and bills and a party hang out with the boys). His mom, who is a client of ours, I own a cleaning service, that is how I found the property, when we went to clean her house, she is divorced from her son's dad.. anyway they started arguing about the deal... She was elated that I could find a buyer that quickly since it had been on the market for 3 years without selling. She went on and on about how it was amazing, how I found someone. In the process, her son said where am I going to put all of my stuff?

Millionaire Walking

I have had a keen interest in RE for a number of years. I bought my first house in 1997 with no money or job from someone who was one month behind and had a fully assumable loan. I paid the assumption fee of 125.00 and took over the mortgage and moved in. Of course those days are long gone, but it spurred my interest in RE.
