One of my freinds on facebook sent this to me and I want to share is with my family. I how beening a investor have its up and down, but will are a strong family, where one of the member are down we help them to get back. I been down I came so close in closing a deal a few time and the buyer back out. I get mad and sad and I ask myself if this want you realize want to do. I come back with the anwser hell yeah. And so it begins y'all...

Been lurking on the site long enough to know that I've learned as much about REI from other people's successes as their failures.

So I've decided to throw my hat in the ring and chronicle my own adventures in the real estate game. I know it'll keep me accountable and organized, and my hope is that my (mis)adventures will enhance someone else's knowledge/hope/confidence in the same way that countless other posts have done for me.

Please please please contribute your two cents and/or say hello. I'd love to meet you all and I'm excited to become a more active part of the DG fam.

OK Everyone I have read the books i have set up a couple of the free web sites. Now for a little background. I am in a financial hole due to the fact my primary business took a big hit following the recession which recently ocurred. I went into un-told credit card debt, over 75K just trying to keep my home and business afloat. I have endured numerous sleepless nights ashamed and disgusted in my situation. I have not told any one of my situation as I am trying to dig myself out of this mess. I need a new start. I need to develop skills and a new mindset and most of all I need my life back. I am luckier then most in that I have the ability to earn but it does not cover my expenses. My retirement savings is shot and my hope for a better retirement seem to be a distant dream.

I took some time away to get my thoughts together. I wanted to make sure that this is something that I wanted to get into. Because for a minute there I was having my doubts and I think I still do, no doubts on if this will actuall will work but doubts on if I can really be a sucess at this. I know with God all things are possible. I guess I just need to get up and do something about this feeling that I have. I wish I had someone here to walk me through my first deal (really walk me). Deans books are a lot of help but I guess I need help putting everything together. Thought my agent was going to help with that but that turned out to be a LIE. So I'm sitting here like What Now?

I just ordered Dean's book yesterday and am impatiently waiting for it to arrive but in the meantime I've been on here non-stop!! I live in northern Utah now... So this is where I plan to do my investing... Originally from Indiana but 8 years in the military has landed me here...

I've seen so many investing products and none seem as genuine and real as Dean's did.. I've wanted to do REI for years now and have never taken the leap to do it for lack of knowledge and no other system seems as great as this one... I'm 28 now and I'm not wasting another day putting off my dreams!!! Wish me luck and I can't wait to meet all of ya'll!!!!

I just got started and I am reading through the book, very interesting and full of hope. GOT TO DO IT

Got Deans book the 2 days ago and finished. Now moving on to his next book. So excited about the possibilities! Love the success stories and finding opportunity where others see problems. I live with a naysayer, so I sent some emails to introduce myself to REI groups in my area. So important to surround ones self with like minded people. Can't wait to take a few to lunch or coffee or golf or whatever.

Ok, So this is my first journal posting. I have just ordered Dean's book first thing this morning then found this website on the internet and have been doing a ton of research. I need to make about $1000 by the July 5th. I hope that I can make it happen. I know that it is a long shot but I need to do it or we are going to lose our home and we just rent. It is so hard when you have four little ones that are counting on you and I am tired of this. My first goal is to make enough that we do not lose our house and it is for sale on the market as a foreclosure due to the landlord loosing it. We want to buy it but have horrible credit and not enough income. Stress stress, and more stress! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
