A new begining

Hi my name is Amanda , I am new to investing. I bought Deans book "30 Days to Realestate Cash" about two weeks. I wanted a career change and actually I needed to make some fast cash because I had so many unpaid bills. Well I had a little feat of what if I don't sound professional and what if the agent can tell that I don't have any money to invest . Well I was on line and saw an ad that " We buy houses and decided to call because I'm trying to fill two buckets . And meet two nice young ladies , after a conversation they asked me if I would like to work with them. I find the properties and bring it to them. They were very helpful in sending me what forms I needed as well as other things . I wanted to say that this information isn't any good , if u don't put it to use .

Marketing During The Winter Bad Idea??

Is it a bad idea to start my new marketing campaign during the winter season? I don't want to put out my marketing material an lose money. Can some shed some light on this? Thanks

Neighbourhood Analysis

Any one who invests in real estate should not only analyze the deal and the numbers in order to make a profit but also analyze the neighborhood, I see that there are a lot of cash flowing deals in not so hot neighborhoods, but one might have safety concerns visiting the property at night. further more when the time comes to sell such deal, one would need to think about the quickest exit strategy without losing a bundle.

New to Action, not necessarily new to Theory

I have been on this site many times for a few years. I order Dean's books, read them and get scared to act. I am at the do or die stage. Since I have most of Dean's books, can anyone give me advice on which book is the best to follow? I would suspect that 30 Days would be best for someone just starting because of the specific calls to action. However, maybe someone with experience can give me some advice? I really don't want to be a landlord. I would like to flip, make some money and join Dean's club or go to a training event.

I’ve been a DGer myself now for about a year now. I joined the success academy in the middle of September, but have been busier with school and put off fulltime real estate until now. Newbies

Hello everyone,

We are a Canadian couple on the East Coast just starting out on this great DG adventure. We are still 'babies', we have not done any deals yet but I own a rental property prior to embarking on Dean's Inner circle.

We are still a bit apprehensive on getting our feet wet but, we will certainly persist in the New Year.
Last week, we put out bandit signs. It was so windy that all of our signs except one, were either blown away of broken in two. We will have to restart the process in the NY as we are now excitedly preparing to go to Cozumel for a week's vacation. Then it will be family, friends and CHRISTMAS time!

Closed deal need help... Please!

Hi guys I just closed a deal and have about 5k to work with to lock down my next deals. What should I focus on to start brining in motivated seller leads? I was told to start direct mail, but have been doing research and its difficult trying to find a creditable list source! Can someone please shed some light on what I should start doing?

Yes I joined the Inner Circle. I'm very excited and nervous. Today @ 11:30am my coach will call me to get me started. I'm so nervous sitting next to the phone like I'm going to really miss her phone call. Did I say her? Big ups to you ladies. Is there anybody that can let me know what to expect?
