I first became interested in real estate when I was a kid because my father bought us a lot out in the sticks where the only road was a dirt road and no neighbors for a mile. Anyhow the lot next to us was bought and the owner said he was going to hold onto it to make some cash. He is still holding onto it after 20 some years LOL. That is when I first got the idea that land was worth something and everyone will always need land. I sort of understood that you could buy and sell it for profit.

Isaiah's Journal
December 30th, 2008 | posted by isaiahsullivanRecently I purchased Dean’s book “Be a Real Estate Millionaire” over the phone. I am a 19 year old college student and I’ve been reading material on real estate and financial intelligence since I was about 17. I got a call from someone offering me the one on one coaching if I could pay a down payment of 600 dollars. I am very eager and hungry to take advantage of today’s market but I am having a hard time whether or not to invest this 600 bucks for one on one training.

December 28th, 2008 | posted by FFJ PropertiesThis spring and summer, I kept hearing about "the bad economy" and "the bad housing market" and record foreclosures. I knew deep in my gut that this HAD to be a good time for investors to get in.
Then, as my wife and I were on vacation, I saw this infomercial on TV- This Dean Graziosi guy was talking about this "window of opportunity" to get in on real estate. I told my wife Sarah about this "feeling" I'd been having, and how this Dean guy was confirming what was in my spirit. My wife graciously allowed me to order the book, "Be a Real Estate Millionaire." I read it through quickly.

Instead of writing my thoughts on paper, I decided to GO GREEN and hopefully by posting my thoughts on this site that it may help other fellow DG website users relate, if not find "SHIELA's BRAIN DUMP" entertaining.
I call this my "BRAIN DUMP" because I am deep in thoughts and I am constantly seeking new ideas. Hopefully, for those who are reading this may find time to answer some of my concerns and/or relate.

Madison's Road To Success/Financial Freedom
October 31st, 2008 | posted by MadisonI have been waiting to start my journal 'cause I was afraid of failure. In other words, if I had started a journal and not gone through with my new career as a REI, I would be a failure and it would be public knowledge.
Well now is the time to step up to the plate and be held accountable! I figure, if I make it public knowlege, I am obligated to do it.
No more procrastination! (which I have become a pro at--lol)
