Seriously trying to get the money up for the Leap!

Times are very hard exceptionally for my husband and I we seem to slowly be loosing everything, he and I have worked so hard for. Got a phone call from the acedemy today and I have to say I have been reading reading reading! Taking notes studying looking at the contracts, searching for properties, put ads on craigs list, trying my best to do what I can with no money, we had to pawn a few things recently to get money for gas, and dentist emergency ect... What an embarrassment that was, We both know and have faith it takes action to get things done!

Louisa's Journal - The Sky is the Limit!!!

So this is my goal... 5 deals by the end of 2009.

I figure if I state it at the top of my blog, I'll have to look at it every day when I hop on here!

Declaring this goal makes me a bit nervous, but I also know that if I make great strides and do a few deals and don't quite hit 5 by the end of the year, I will still have conquered my fears about it, have a lot more info to make many more deals happen more quickly going forward, and I and will hopefully be miles from where I am right now!

But make no mistake...I am serious about my goal of 5 deals and serious about putting the time in to make it happen.

It’s been 2 months since I read “Profit from Real Estate Now” and almost a month in the Academy. Sometimes I feel I’ll never get to the point of being ready to go out there and do this because of the learning curve and then the work to get the business up and going, plus working full time to boot.

Tom's first 100 Days

Hi everyone,

I'm one of the people Dean talks about in his TV shows - the folks that buy his stuff and then put it on the shelf. I did just that in June of 2008. In fact, I barely looked at it before I did, and I had plenty of excuses ready to justify it: unemployed, trying to start a company and work for myself, getting my own house ready to sell... all valid, and all ultimately excuses.

Today is the day I've decided to act on my desire to be a Real Estate Investor. I will be researching deals and set in motion my search for investors.

Why am I starting to feel this way...

hey everyone!
I'm loving the success stories =) keeps me motivated & thinking "WOW, maybe I can!" but I'm writing because i need help. I am confused on some of the courses. I just got involved with the Academy. I'm suuuper excited! but I'm also scared. I know lot's have felt this way..I guess i just need reassurance. IF anyone's out there willing to give a hand, that would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!
& may nothing but fortune, happiness, & love come your way Smiling

Ready to get started...

Alright DG members....I have been silently sitting by the past several months reading of everyones successes. Now, I am really getting the itch to get started. I am very reluctant but think I'm ready to take the risk....I think. Dean says his plan can work anywhere....well, I want to try it out in our small, midwestern, tourist hotspot of a town. Eventually, I would like to invest in resorts, duplex/condo...but realize I probably need to start small.

Kenya's first journal entry

I have been reading BARM. I have read real estate books before, but this is the first one that has mentioned and explained the real estate cycle...it's wonderful. I am building my buyer's list (three names so far--haven't called them yet) I want to finish this book and then read the PFRN book. I would also like to look into the Success Academy..I want every advantage I can get...I am in Hendersonville, North Carolina and I am excited and motivated!!!
