I started on the DG websites just a short time ago although I have been a member for a month now.

I have learned a lot getting familiar with the site and all its contributors. What a wealth of usable information.

One struggle I had been having and I can say there shall be no more...Finding buyers.
I have so much to do with that and so here goes...
Will update on my progress.

I have read "Profit From Real Estate Right Now!" and have almost finished it for the second time, this time studying and highlighting. I just found out today that my regular j-o-b has no work lined up for me over the next 6mos.
I'm in N.C. and am watching the monsoon weather today, hoping tomorrow will bring a better monetary outlook.
I have some things in place to help me with my start in real estate, but have need to proceed with caution. "It takes money to make money!" (Al Capone), it's a proven fact, but hope to get started when the rain quits.

HELP HELP HELP

well im starting to get very frustrated i have gone to rei groups the two that are any where near me i even traveled out of state for one almost 90 miles away to try to get investors like they told me in the book i have placed adds in the paper i have put adds on creigslist and the adds i put there are taken off of the site. i spent the 8700 dollars on the success academy and that hasnt done anything for me either. i have to be doing something wrong i just dont know what it is. i have taken the last of my savings and put it into this and i just dont know what to do next.

So this whole real estate thing...It's an evolving art-form. I'm learning more and more everyday.

A little background about me...I'm a 23 year old college grad who just moved to Nashville TN. When i got done with school in 2007 i decided to pursue music as a career. I've toured the east coast a few times. I've played some amazing venues and met some even more amazing people along the way.

buyer list

one of the things that kinda of intimidated me was getting together my buyers list. i knew this would be crucial in my development as a real estate investor. but i must say after joining a local investors club and attending their meetings i had by the time if left 20 people to add to B.L. wow!!!!! i am attending another one tomorrow hoping to get about 20-25 more! i also ran adds on craiglist just asking for people to join my buyers list. i created a "squeeze page" with a short questionnaire that they filled out and presto!

I have started my on line classes and BREM. My stratagy is to use assighmnt of contract to aquire the funds to start my REI business, and aquire rentals to increase my passive cash flow to the point it exceeds my expenses( financial freedom).
