Investing Journals

It is 3AM and I couldn't sleep. I will explain that later. I spent about 2 hours reading Indiana Joe's journal and decided it was time to start mine.
I live in central Florida and the weather has finally turned. It was about 81 today and the humidity has gone down to about 65%. It is like summer in NY where I used to live. I have turned the AC off and opened all the windows. It is wonderful.

I've made up my mind and I'm finally going to start my journal! Woo Hoo! Tomorrow, November 6th, will be the first official day of my first entry. I have allot to do but I can't wait to come here and share it with everyone. So, everyone come check out my journal...leave any suggestions or tips and words of encouragement are always needed. Today was a milestone for me. You see, since I was laid off in Dec. 08, I haven't been able to find work. Honestly, I don't want another 8 to 5 job sitting at a desk any more. However, it has become increasingly impossible for me to leave my house without having an appointment, or someone meet me somewhere, or someone to go with me (like my husband). I would actually wait until my husband came home from work for him to take me to do grocery shopping. But TODAY, I actually went to the grocery store by myself AND I stopped at a Realtor's office and gave him my card.

Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Benjamin and I live in the great state of Alabama. Well, first off Iam a correctional officer for the state. The year I have been there have been a blur (6yrs in Jan). Sad to say Iam not happy at all. I see and put with a lot of b.s just for a little pay check (AL is one the last state in America as far as pay to C.O). A bit more about me. I went to college I didnt graduate due to being lazy (which I regret)also I played basketball and had a chance to play overseas. They wanted me to play in Lebannon.

I have been working with the enclosed entity and the owner. He has bad credit because of a bad business deal he was a part of so he had to get a 50% ltv loan at 15%. His treatment center is appraised at $8.7 M and he has a place on the lake appraised at $2.2M. He has been trying for the past three years to get more standard financing. He has a three year track record of not missing a payment.

11/03/2009 -- This is the beginning of my journal entries. I purchased Dean's books in October 2009 and I have been reading them and the remarks in the forums to learn as much as possible.

Administrative Actions Taken:

1) Created flyers to attract real estate agents and loan officers.

2) Reviewed Dean's contracts and learned which contracts should be used for specific deal types.

3) Concentrated on the assignment contract deals in Dean's books and the forums to gain a knowledge base to be able to make a deal with the seller.

Administrative Actions Needed:

I have some great deals that I'm looking at right now. I need serious Investors to get going on those deals. Let me know if anyone interested in Massachusset specialy in the Plymouth county. I have the management skills and experiences, I can manage rental if decide to hold a home. I will be waiting, but don't take to long this is the best time to do this as we're all probably know.

Hello my name is Kim and this is the beginning of my journey to prosperity. I bought Dean's Be A Real Estate Millionaire June 2008. I didn't actually start reading the book until March 2009. I also bought Profit from Real Estate Now. I've read both books cover to cover and finally took the first step. Its a small step, but in reality it takes many little action steps to make something grow to be big. Today I posted and ad on Craigslist, to attract buyers. After I did it I realized that it really wasn't all that difficult to do.

so today i just realized they have "member journals" at DG.com, which might i add i think is one of the coolest things EVER!

so since ordering the "Empowering Conversations" dvd's i ahve been totally motivated to doing this, and not only that, but just from hearing Dean encourage all of us, it just made me a happy person. i dont think ive gotten mad or angry in the past 2 days! which is great! lol

Hello everyone at the DG family. I want to thank everyone who has welcomed me into this family. The support, the help, and the insights have been wonderful. I figured it was time that I started some accountability for myself. For some of you, you already know my past, but for others know of nothing about me.
