So I found some people that want to invest in Real-Estate with me. I've decided to actually get out and do it after reading book after book and watching other people succeed. It's my turn to do it.

What a day today. I feel like I was jumping from one thing to the next. I need to work smarter instead of trying to make things so hard. Have to learn one avenue of real estate stick to it and stop overwhelming myself trying to do so much at a time. I pat myself on the back and say good job today for putting forth the effort to succeed in real estate. Lease Options or Assignment of Contract which one do I do?

It seems silly to say but even though you're not happy with where you are in life it's easier to stay comfortably miserable,rather than taking chances to improve your life.However,you can't be afraid to go out on a limb because that's where the fruit is.I have constant negativity all around me all the time Thank God for Dean's blogs and this sight.I said all that to say this,I've read Deans BARM about a year ago and promptly forgot it.Mistake # infinity in my life lol.I bought Deans right now,recorded it to cd to listen to while driving,but am now reading the book and taking notes.I'm sure it'll take reading through a few times to get it,but I thought starting a journal and sharing it with my dg family would help keep me focused and moving forward.Rob

I'm Scott. Hello to my new family. Well I am not afraid to work hard to earn the things I want but I am also lazy at times. So with that in mind I am copying some of my 'About Me' here.
I currently live in Waco, Tx. I will be moving to Victoria, Tx soon. March(2010) is my goal month to move. I'm broke, of course, but I have a strong back and I am a hard worker. I am hungry for a better life and that hunger motivates and inspires me to go the distance.

Hello Everyone!!!

The name's John Ingram and I'm really starting to get SERIOUS about this real estate "thing". I have both books Profit From Real Estate Right Now and Be a Real Estate Millionaire and have read them both a few times.

I've had a few close calls as some of you might remember reading... But due to inexperience and lack of funds I fell short of glory.

this is the start of our journal. my father and i got the books back in oct of 09 and joined the success academy soon after. we have gotten our ein number and also have our articals of corperation.we have posted adds in every free online web site known to man, made our web site, have found a few investors and am tring to get things off the ground and running. i have put out emails to over 200 realtors and have only gotten emailed back by 3 of them that are willing to work with us. i am very nervous about talking to people and sounding like i dont know what im talking about .

This First post is going to have a lot of things not having to do with real estate, the beginning is more how I got into real estate. Go to December 18, 2009 for the actual real estate stuff.

I was up really late watching tv and saw Dean's show. After watching about 5 minutes of it, I picked up the phone and ordered both of his books. Please understand that I have NEVER in my life ordered something off the television so his show was pretty convincing for me to order something.

Hello! My name is Moses. I am one of the So Cal 7. The other six members are My Wife, Mom, Sister and her Husband, Brother and his Wife. We are in this together.

Two months ago my Mom returned from a two week vacation from Mexico and told me that she sold a piece of land that she had purchased before she moved to the USA 34 years ago. She told me that she wanted to invest it in real estate here with Myself, Brother, and Sister. I was fired up! What a great way to bring all of us closer!

I am starting a new journal and going in a new direction, one ave is closed for now but another is opening. Wholesaling is now the direction i must travel to get to my ultimate goal of buy and hold.

Thanks to my friends here,I know it will happen soon.
I have been working on wholesaleing for 4 weeks now but have made great strides and hope to close a deal soon. Buyers list is around 12 but i am always trying to find more cash investors.

My name is Leo. I live in Smyrna Ga and I received Dean's books a couple of weeks ago. I'm excited, but nervous as well. I was in the mortgaage business for 10 years, I got burned out and have been out of the business for five years. That being said you would think that I would be brimming with confidence, but I am finding it difficult to pull the trigger. I have set up my 800 number, my aff website, put ads on craigslist and put signs out looking for sellers. I have looked at 3 houses but i'm scared to death to make an offer and bury myself in a bad deal.
