The concept of Wizard Investing is knowing how to handle anything that comes your way. That may even include walking away from the deal completely. Many investors come to a complete standstill because they don't know how to handle a deal that they think is complex.

Most of the so called gurus are making money from one of two ways. They are either selling theory, or they are REAL INVESTORS out in the trenches doing deals.

But if you learned about investing from a REIA, you may have taken a class and focused in on one strategy.

Well the truth of the matter is that you will let over 90% of deals go by you because you don't know what you dont' know.

Kliew's Journey

This is my first journal entry to my Real Estate Investing career. I just joined the Real Estate Academy yesterday; I have not even spoken with my coach yet. I am so excited!!! I am the type of person, who is already self motivated. I look at what I know I can accomplish and I go after it, I take action. My husband and I are going to be working together on our new journey. I know someday we will both look back and say, yes we did it!

Craigslist eBay and Real Estate Investing - The Journal Behind the Adventures of Indiana-Joe!

Have you ever heard a great story or started watching a movie when it already began about an hour prior? Sometimes you miss things from the beginning, right? You also enjoy hearing a story from the beginning to get all the facts and tidbits of information. Sometimes who tells the story could make a difference, as well. Did the person hear the story from someone else, or were they there as part of the story? That can make all the difference in the adventure!

I think back to a little over a year ago when we decided to order Dean's book and program and I can't begin to tell you how much our lives have changed. We owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to Dean for all his books and programs have done for us and our family!

Deal for the record books???

Today while working graveyard at my desk clerk job at Comfort Inn I was on Zillow researchings areas in a town im looking to start investing. I narrowed it down to the "Make Me Move" listings i went to an area of town with a house i had to triple to make sure I wasn't tired from my shift(haha) but there it was in black and white a 2 story house in a good neighbrohood 2 car garage estimated value $330,000 and what was the owner asking for??? (house has been listed for over 300 days) the house was listed for ONE DOLLAR!!!! This has to be to good to be true. I sent the owner an email about the property so I am waiting for a response. Praying this is legit! What a steal if it is! Ill keep you posted by the days end.

Tucson, AZ Investors out there??

Hi my name is Adrian Marquez and I am a complete newbie haha. I love the books but im having a tough time getting started (you can even say im a lil scared to jump in) I almost have no support except for my Girlfriend. I want to start off doing assignment deals in Tucson, AZ so if anyone is from there or has done deals I would appreciate any help to get started.

Hay family, first i would like to wish all of the mothers out there a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! i want to thank all of the mother's out there for for so many things it's hard to know where to start, but i would like to mention a few,
thank you for:
* those first nine months of development.
* teaching me to walk/talk and direction needed to advance in life.
* encouragement when i thought no one cared. you always had/have a warm smile, a kind word, and a hug that would chase away all my fears.
* tough love when i needed it.
* that warm cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter's day.

My new life

I am looking at 2 lease option deals. One in the morning and one next week. I have got all my leads solely off of craigs. I have finished profit now and your town and things are seeming very optimistic to me. I dove head first into the material and got it done. Hopefully the deals will come quicker once I actually make an effort!!

Hello DG family. This is my first time posting my journal. My name is Don and my wife of 20yrs is Dia, We have been looking at becoming Real Estate investors for 10yrs, and only became active in the business 5yrs ago. At that time the market was heading for its fall. We did manage to land four birddog deal until the investors and mortgage broker, up and bailed out leaving us to fall flat on our faces. That was in 2007 when we became homeless, but we didn't jump ship, in some way the good Lord kept us involved in Real Estate by going to work as a handy man at the motel we stayed at, then found a job as a general labor for some Real estate investors, then found a home to rent out through the investors for an elderly lady.
