Lease Option

Feeling better about making an offer on my first deal have had some help come along after many posts and no responses. Now on to something different. Want to start working on my second deal and for this one I would like to do a lease option need just a few quick pointers to get me started.

Where Do I Start?

Hi Everyone,

My name is Bill. I purchased "How to be a Real Estate Millionaire" about two years ago. I read the book cover to cover in a few nites and remember being very excited about starting my real eastate career. After that I got distracted and never did anything to start investing. I recently revisited this website and saw how everyone helps eachother. I was blown away by all the help and support everyone gives eachother. I am hoping to find the answers to my questions here. I have that same feeling of excitement I had two years ago and I'm ready to start my real estate career and a better life for my family.

My Questions:

Is there any one in Charleston South Carolina that has made any deals

Is any one in Charleston South Carolina or close by that is doing this. I would be real greatful if you could give some advice on how you got started, and what you did to get your first deal to go through. Thanks alot

OK...Let the journey begin...

After getting beat up a bit by the real estate market a few years ago and giving birth to my little marshmallow, I've decided to get back up, dust myself off, and get the ball rolling again. (College is expensive now...can't imagine what it will cost in 2018)

I'm not one for blogging, but I'm thinking if I write it down, I'll be more likely to commit to following through with my goals.

Goal #1 - Stop waiting for the PERFECT time to get started and get off my...duff Smiling READY---SHOOT---AIM. It's OK to make mistakes along the way, and I am giving myself permission to do just that.

Now what to do first...find some houses and some buyers of course.

New Beginnings

To whomever it may concern,I am a law student with not much money...actually, I have no money! If it were not for the scholarship at Duke, I would still be living in the projects in Upstate N.Y.,... But I see a brighter day coming forward..I went to the seminar that Dean's company sponsored at a Hotel and I was hooked, because I live in a college town and rental property is highly lucrative. Well, when everyone was signing up for the academy, I left. I could not afford the course and I was embarassed and disappointed, so I had to improvise and ponder on everything that was said to & presented to me: ALL U NEED IS IN THE BOOKS !

WHAT THE EDGE HAS DONE FOR ME

After Watching Dean's Video Today I figure I need to stat another journal Of Deals I close due to the EDGE. I have got so many great things going on today all because of the edge. I have done 3 more deals seance I have got home. I do have several great things in the making that I will follow up on very soon. I am going to be on the road for the next 2 to 4 weeks but that's OK. Will be posting of my new adventure here soon. Beware Matt I am on the way. I set very Hi goals for myself And I will not slow down till I do catch Matt.

Read tons of books. Been to seminars. Had some bad luck with employment. Newly married and baby on the way. Time to get this dream off the ground and put some $$ in my pocket.

I've got a motivated seller who's moving out of state and lives in an upper income neighborhood. Found his house through forsalebyowner.com. We've emailed and he's very interested in my idea to take over his payments until the house sells. However, he wants to know how I'm going to do it. We have a face to face scheduled for sunday 6/13.

Seeing the connections in ALL your actions

Hi,I,m Kimmie and I'm very new.I have read the book and refer to it often for insperation.I have also statred in the acadamy.I went to my first REI club today and the only people there were myself and the guy running it.When I got there I kept in mind to keep an open mind because you never no when your first or next deal will be.Although I was very confident and let him now what I was there for,he insisted that what I was doing was going to be very hard!Although this might be a disscouragement for some I new that I would get somthing from just getting out there.He gave me a book he thought I should read,which was very nice.About an hour into it I felt that I wasnt getting anywhere so I excused my self to go get some coffe and come up with apolite reason to leave.I left the "Real Estate re

Hello Everyone!

This is my very first journal entry and I must say that I am very excited to begin this new REI Journey. My husband and I have recently began reading "Be a Real Estate Millionaire" and "Profit from Real Estate Right Now". I am about half way through my book and my husband is right behind me in his, then we will switch when we are both finished.
