I am still starting out and I am looking to expand my buyers list. Currently my list does exist, but that isn't saying much...

Anyhow, I was rereading the 30 days to real estate cash book and taking things step-by-step. I came across the part that talks about getting a real estate agent (which I tried before, but didn't do it right) and it says to ask them "for a list of the names of all the cash buyers of real estate within the last 90 days."

I was wondering when/how I should ask them that. I know in the past that asking for a list such as that hasn't yielded results, I must be doing it wrong.

Zillow posted a property and my partner put a full price offer on it as it looked too good to be true. Well it was. I contacted the agent listed for the property and she informed me that zillow put that up and they have no control over it. Why would zillow do that? The house last sold for 323,ooo and was listed as 33,900. So I said this has got to be a mistake and I called to find out. Bad Zillow; should we trust them at all?

Hello Everyone
So I found an agent through Linkedin. I have been searching looking for one and she was the only one that responded quickly. So the area were I live the prices are $400k and up. The reason why I'm focusing on my area is because I put out an ad on Craigslist reach buyers for this area, the response I got was amazing got like 7 interested buyers. I figure that there is a lot to be made if I get the right numbers for these properties.

I am always interested in different marketing ideas. I have heard about these yellow letters but have been busy doing other things. So just this week I thought I would send one to a owner of a property that has been for sale for about 2 years. Yes, I just sent 1 letter. I got a call-wow 100% return rate Anyway I got to talk with the owner and may be able to work out a deal. I think I will send more yellow letters. Has anybody been using these with success . What are others sending to expired listings?
I would like to hear from you all.
