I am new to this. I am reluctant to go and find a home and assign it before I have an investor in mind to purchase it because I live in a rural area with few investors available in the immediate area. At first, I tried to find investors locally, with no luck. My next move was to set up a 800 number and place an ad in the Phoenix paper. I got one call that was a hang up. My next move to find investors, was to go on to REI sites and found people giving advice, made note of their e-mail address, and sent them an e-mail about myself and what I am looking for.

Buying and renting the DG way
May 7th, 2009 | posted by fortran1994Hi All.
I just finished college and also finished reading Dean's book.
My goal is to buy 1 or 2 homes and then rent them out.
However, I only found techniques mainly for assigning and selling equity.
What are the techniques used to buy a property and then keep it and rent it for the long term?
Thanks for any help!

May 5th, 2009 | posted by freedomn35/01/2009 - Made the decision to keep my real estate license active, but I am going to change brokers. I plan to work with one or two area investors and find properties that will fit their investment needs and at the same time look out for deals for my own investment goals. I also will primarily be a buyers agent in other real estate transactions.
In the coming weeks I will post information here for other DG real estate investors in my area to get in contact with me and I can work together with a couple of them to achieve their investment goals.
Bye for now

I just got Dean's new book "Profit from Real Estate Right Now." I went ahead and read just the first chapter and I must say that I'm impressed.
I always knew that the money was in Real Estate but I've always been "scared" to do it because from what I heard, it's very complicated. Now, with Deans advice and from what I read so far, I'm eager to get started.
Not sure how much the Success Academy is gonna cost since money is tight right now but I'll give it a try and see what happens.
My Journal to Real Estate Success :o)
May 2nd, 2009 | posted by R.E.BuddaHi Everyone!
The purpose of my journal is to keep me on track and stay focused. My Husband and I have been interested in real estate for a long time but never had the funds to invest in the real estate program that we liked or money to buy property.
I never saw Dean in an informatial, I actually read a review about him on a website that tried a bunch of "real estate get rich schemes" and Dean was on the top of his list of successful products. With all of the scams out there, how could I believe this would work versus the other RE info that I've read?
A New Beginning
May 1st, 2009 | posted by Invest_NOVAHi,
I already started a thread called 3....2....1....ACTION! and probably should have put it here, but since I didn't I'll just start from where I left off in that thread.
It's funny. I was going through my ideas on what I need to do next based on what I read in Dean's book, "Profit From Real Estate RIGHT NOW!" (HTPFRERN!). I decided it was time to find a Real Estate agent. Yuri said he found one, I've read other forum entries today that said they had one, and it was something I hadn't done. Basically, it just made sense to go after this step next.

May 1st, 2009 | posted by mberriosincI've locked up a rehab property in Wilkes Barre, PA and now I'm looking to wholesale this bad boy. The owner also has two other properties that are potential short sale candidates. One of them is a multi-family, also requiring rehab.
I own a property in Rocky Mount, NC that is sitting vacant because I've got to do some updating to have rented.
My goal is to own 8 to 10 properties by the end of the year and to flip 2 to 4 properties a month.
I'm looking for partners (equity, credit, cash, business) to build a conglomerate of companies.

This topic is too cool to pass up so here I go.
I’m currently closing PFRERN (Man is this book awesome or what!)
The present market in Florida is completely upside down in my opinion. It is the right time and the right place to get this REI career of mine started.
I have read most of the material before in my teen years and simply smiled at the idea of being one of those creative investors making offers, selling and closing simultaneously. However, I couldn’t figure out how to plug in and start my new found career.

April 28th, 2009 | posted by kilthauWow! Just a brand new investor totally blown away by the live event Dean and his crew put on in Phoenix this past weekend. It was a pleasure to meet Anita and so many others who have taken that leap of faith and are now filling their bank accounts and fulfilling their dreams and desires for themselves and their families. I was fascinated at the stories of all the investors on Sunday as they shared great info and techniques for all of us. Common theme: JUST DO IT!
