I see the circus as a metaphor for many things, and it has certainly played an important part in my life. It's a place where people work extremely hard, are dedicated to practice so they can refine their work and learn new things, they take risks and, dare I say, they're juggling many tasks. I see what we do here as the same.

After reading all of your journals I felt I needed to start one mainly to provide myself with a way of setting my goals and being able to track my progress in achieving them. Also I hope that it may provide information that may be helpful to others in achieving their goals.

April 10th, 2009 | posted by ivanessa89well just three days ago i received deans latest book and just finish reading it. The book is packed with information, is great. At fist i was very skeptical but luckly my bf went ahead and got it. We started looking at some house down here in phila where we live and there are good opportunities. I also sent emails to several real estate agents, looked up lenders and auctions. We also got into the acadamy so i hope it goes well. I have wanted to get into real estate for awhile so its exciting to see that it might be happening.
Using a search engine
April 9th, 2009 | posted by charlie-dHi... The reason I am posting this is because of some of the problems some people are having with various business people. REMEMBER always try to check out the people you are dealing with. Just for the heck of it, next time you are going to do business with some one, go to the BBB (I use Google) to see how they rank. Sometimes there is no listing and other times you would be surprised. Try it on any local auto dealer. Maybe you will find out Honest John isn't so honest. I checked out Dean on Google and the BBB. Go there and see for yourself.

Dar's journal
April 9th, 2009 | posted by dar4himI have been noting all kinds of potential deals in my area for a few weeks now, researching them for the owner, tax and title info - I finally decided to just do it.
I contacted one of the owners of a house that was about to be auctioned. I found out that they have both a first and a second that are more than 220% of CMV. I asked some questions (thank you for your assistance Rina) and decided that there wasn't enough to gain or enough time for this situation to spend anymore time on it.

Its been about 2 weeks since I was watching Dean's commercial on TV...probably the best $40.00 I've ever spent. I saw it on TV at about 4 A.M. that night and when I called to order it, I was at work and thought to myself "I just spent $40.00 on 2 books that won't help me at all". Was I wrong or what!

April 7th, 2009 | posted by holyjuanAs I have said in the past, I have started working on a list of buyers for about two weeks now. They look very promising as I have investors in place from all around the country willing to buy property from me once I crank up full throttle. Let me know your thoughts.

April 7th, 2009 | posted by rmentesLast night I finally put in 25 offers. I will see how it turns out. These are all email offers and I will find out soon how effective it is. I will change my strategy based on results. I am just so happy that I finally took the step towards a positive RE future. If I don't take action, then there is no hope for results!
