Hello DG Family. I hope to be communicating with you all for a long time. Thank you all for your contributions, especially for your inspirational stories.

Well, I did a lot of 1st's today. #1- I became a DG Member on this site. #2- This is my 1st Post. #3- I started a Gmail Account. #4- I created an Account with Craigslist and placed my first Advertisment, "looking for Cash Buyers". After 2 hours, I already received 2 responses from "Cash Buyers". This is very exciting to me.

Hello fellow DGers!

Hello family, today is the first day of the rest of my life. I have a desire to become a REI and I intend to make it a reality. This journal will seem slow or even boring to a lot of you but I'm writing this as a means to hold myself accountable and to stay on track. See I've been interested in REI since about 2002 and to date I have done nothing more than to purchase the home that my wife and I live in today. Don't get me wrong I don't look at that as a bad thing but I know there's more to be gotten. See I think it's easy for most people to purchase a home when they use the popular conventional means, but when you flip the coin on the other side and now it's up to you to do all of the leg work and speaking to people outside of your normal click things become a little more challenging.

Well, I have to say that I am extremely excited to be apart of this family. You can feel the love and the open arms embracing you to achieve success.

I started this journal to track my steps to accomplishing my goals. As well as, learning from everyone here and hopefully they can learn from me too. I feel good about the steps I am taking...matter of I feel Great!

I was once told, "If you do what others do, you get the same results. But if you do what others fear, you find success and freedom." The choice is simple. Let's make this year an astonishing year for us all. Go out there and take a chance, because I surely will.

Let's Go! Get it done!

I bought Dean's BARM book back in the Spring of 2008, got scared, stuck it in a box and forgot all about it.

Recently watched a TV clip of Dean talking about PFRERN and the live seminars that were going to held in my area. That clip, sparked my interest again since I've been unemployed now for 1.5 years (doing some IT contract work), I went hunting for the box with the BARM book in it.

Today I start my journey. I am waiting until payday to order my book. But I have gotten enough inspiration from this website and Dean to proceed with confidence.

I started looking in the county auditors website to find real estate investment companies and investors. I'm not excatly sure if that is the right way to start a buyers list. But its the information I have to work with. I want to keep the progress moving so when I recieve the book I'll be one step moving forward on my the next steps of my financial freedom journey. Wish me luck and bless you all for the inspiration to make me start my journal.

I am very close to finishing PRN and my head is swimming. I have never dealt with real estate but I am so ready to get started I am bursting at the seams. I guess I will start out with my buyers list. I can not imagine being nervous at this point. What do I have to loose? All I need is the money for the coaching. Watch out world here I come.

I guess my motivation is so strong it will not allow me to be apprehensive. I have to make this work. My family is relying on me and my friends are watching me. I truly believe that after I make this work others will follow.

Well, I've made the commitment to become a successful RE Investor in 2010 and I need some help.

Although I am homeless (sleeping in my Focus--cramps my style), without a job (however, I will work as a census taker as soon as they call me), and with a few buck to my name (getting tired of oatmeal and rock soup).

However, I'm thankful I'm healthy, wealthy (in spirit), and alive. Some in Haiti didn't or don't have that option.

Have 3 potentials: 1)an out of state owner of a 2/1 FSBO in the neighborhood I just moved to in Fort Lauderdale that has been on the market for over a year, according to her lawn guy. Very reasonable, below FMV for the area. Exterior appears in very good shape, have not looked inside. First contact w/owner yesterday, will follow up Mon.
