Well, It's that time in my life.....

I purchased Dean's books in 2010. I gave a half hearted effort at best, came close to buying a property, then my world fell apart personally...
While I was getting back on my feet, I decided to have a yard sale to raise some food money really, and when I opened a box labeled "stuff" I came across my old biz cards, forms I had printed, worksheets and my notes, and best of all, the DG books I purchased. Immediately, put them aside and 3 weeks later, decided to get into the program again.

QUICK QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS WHO ATTENDED THIS YEAR' S EDGE EVENT

Hi my DG family,

I had been buiding my buyers list like Ali presented during the edge.

The 15 realtors which he mentioned which is the magic number like he narrated.

Does contacting 15 realtors working in the same real estate office branch count or am I suppose to contact 15 agents from different real estate company in the same area or city my buyers are looking to buy?

HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM BEFORE?

Hey my Dg family

I placed out some bandit signs last weekend. I received 30 missed calls on saturday and 6 missed calls on sunday after I accessed my google account.

I just learnt Google won't let me text multiple numbers at once and I'm only limted to texting 5 contacts at a time. I decided to group the 30 missed calls into a group of 5 and started to text them my power speech Dean shared on "30 days to quick cash".

After being successful texting the 4 group of numbers.

Then I tried texting the next group of 5 numbers and goole said "MESSAGE NOT SENT" after numerous attempts.

I would like an experienced person to tell me what I can do so I can be able to create a solution to this problem?

My bird dogging

I have been struggling with how to make this a success. My credit is bad and I have no cash. I wanted to be a success and wasnt sure how. Then I went to one of deans seminars for free in 2012. I waited because I didnt know if this was right for me. Well here I am in 2014 and Im reading his books and made a choice. I decided to become a bird dog in the hopes of making enough money to start investing on my own. I found a wholesaler willing to work with me and so my journey begins. Now here I am with one property accepted and two more on the way. I will keep you up to date on what happens from here. I am on my way to making my dreams come true.

Monday May 26- did not do much today being Memorial Day and all, went on DG website like I did every day (hope I am not becoming a pest)

Spoke to my Fellow DGer happy about that although I felt I bombarded the person with to much information instead of hitting clear points (this is a constant thing with me over providing information when specifics would be good enough)

Tuesday May 27- well today was taxing on my patience had a day of constant back and forth with my Lawyers about entity structures of my LLC It did not go well as I expected. However clear points were made regarding Asset protection and the creation of said LLC so that I may move forward.

Investment Account or Investment Property (IRA)

Answer: The rate of inflation.

A recent article shared by Sovereign Man addressed this exact topic and went as far to say that if you continue to hold your cash in a U.S. bank account, you’ll actually be losing money.

While it may sound far fetched, this is a harsh reality for many Americans.

Is it advisable to attend the same rei club regularly after the first meeting?

I attended a rei club which meets every Wednesday last week. I added two landlord cash buyers to my list.

The rei club is free but you are required to buy lunch when you attend.

Last week I played it off and when I got there I told them I had just got off work and my stomach is already filled from the food I ate during my lunch break at work.

Suddenly the hostess asked me what do I what to eat and I was like all I need is a glass of water. She looked at me kind of funny and was like next time I am to order a lunch.

The buffet cost $16.00. I dont want to use my savings until I start my new job as a cab driver.

Am I suppose to let the group leader know that I wouldn't be coming today?

I decided to come back and start anew. I am so glad to be back!!! I have missed this place and visiting with everyone here! So I'm starting a second journal. The first one was a great reflection for me, and got me going to do deals, execute and stay accountable.

It has been 5 years since I started my first journal on this site. My life has changed (2 kids later, cashflowing properties and 30+ deals done!). My expertise has changed. My success has changed. My challenges have changed (and some are the same!). And my goals have changed. All these changes deserved a new journal, and a new challenge in staying accountable to bringing it to the next level!
