The single most effective promise to use in your headline is: The solution to the one problem that keeps them awake at night. Nothing more or less. Your customer only cares about how you product can solve a crucial, nagging problem they have. Or how you can help them achieve an important goal. So why waste time with anything else. It’s simple and it works almost every time. Who doesn’t want to have their most pressing needs and wants satisfied?
Headlines can be classified into two very separate and distinct categories:
• Those that work
• Those that don’t

Always focus the headline on this particular type of promise

July 28th, 2009 | posted by ghowellOne of the biggest obstacles I see new investors dealing with is fear. They may fear looking dumb to other investors or real estate professionals. They may fear that they don't have enough knowledge to take the first steps in investing. Everybody feels it when starting any new endeavor. I play the guitar, and still have fear when going to a recording or a performance that something will go wrong. This is natural.
But it only becomes a problem if we allow it to interfere with our productive actions in real estate investing.

Six ideas for financing a new business
By Marshall Loeb, MarketWatch
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- You've just been laid off from your job. Or perhaps you've been offered an early-retirement package. In either case, you're not ready to stop working but don't want to go back on the 9-to-5 treadmill. It might be time to start that business you've been dreaming of for years.
Avoid Scams From Other Investors
July 16th, 2009 | posted by John AJust wanted everyone to know that I did receive a scam message in my page. You can go there and read it, entitled "Possible Investment". If you get a message from someone claiming to be a lender and tells you that they only want you to contact them outside site, make sure you check that person out before going into partnership or making a deal with that person. Be aware, because it can happen even on Dean's site.

Why Headlines are so vital to your success
July 1st, 2009 | posted by scarlsonThe way to cut through all the clutter and get your prospects’ attention is to draft a headline that is so compelling, so interesting and so moving that it stops customers in their tracks!
How do you accomplish this task? By promising the customer whatever it is the want the most. That promise can be presented through the following techniques:
• The major benefit your customer gets from your product
• A special, limited time offer
• A powerful testimonial
Change of Headline
July 1st, 2009 | posted by scarlsonChange of Headline
More than once I’ve seen just the change of a headline pull three times as much as an ad with a weaker headline. The copy and graphics were exactly the same. The offer was exactly the same. And the ad, sales letter, or web marketing piece reached precisely the same audience. The only change was a different headline.
