Congratulations, John! And thank you, Dean for always being so generous and inspiring to all of your followers. I am surrounded by naysayers which makes it hard to move forward. I even have a friend who has been a REI for many years but because of the locations and the timing of his purchases has struggled for years to make it work. To date, he has not been successful, despite owning 10 rental properties. He is amazed that I still want to be an REI! I am not put off by one person's lack of success. I still believe completely that this is the way to go and am anxious to make my first deal.
Question: When purchasing a property such as this in Michigan, do you use a property management company? (I'm in CT) I get many emails with fantastic opportunities, specifically in that area but don't know how I would manage the property. Suggestions? Does anyone have a management company they can recommend in the area? Thanks for all you do!
