Hi... A rainy day in MA. Drove around with a friend to see some houses and I must say, they didn't look to bad. The area is ok. We were driving downtown and I saw a FSBO sign. We didn't have time to stop so we went around the town and got the info. This is a little different though. The property has a condo on top and a store front on the bottom. I am looking forward to talking to the owner. Well, got to brush up on my phone skills. Have a Great Day

Hi everyone. My name is Charlie. I seen Dean on a local TV program. I ordered the book on March 29, but haven't received it yet. As I read the many Posts and comments I am truly amazed at all the warmth and caring on this site.

Investing where do we start? YOURSELF!!!! FOR FREE!!!

I am inspired to write this journal to help out many of the people beginning to invest in Real Estate who are having trouble to even know where to begin.

Here is the answer YOURSELF!!

I know the biggest obstacle to overcome is the mindset of having a lack of/no money AND/or NO Credit.

I am in both situations I have very little money and my credit sucks. I will not spend what I have because I need to be prepared for my addition to the world, my soon to be born son Hunter.

If you invest in yourself you will see many great results.

But how do you invest in yourself?

I've finally decided to start my REI journal since today my first offer was accepted!!!

Offer of 42k accepted!!!!!!!!!

Will put 3k down. I want to either do a double close in 14 days or finance the rest with HML.

I have a few HML that I've been talking with but now I have to really find someone to take this deal.

I have run some adds on Craigslist but so far I only have 1 guy who wants to do a lease/option.

Tomorrow I have to give the realtor 3k to lock up the deal. I can't wait!!! Inervous about the rest of the financing but I know it will work out.

New Member and Student

Hello everyone,

I am new to Real Estate and have always known in the back of my mind that Real Estate is the way to go. At one point I did consider becoming an agent however I work in the medical field and now have a family with 2 young boys (7 and 5) and 4 dogs. I also am in Dog Rescue so 3 of them are my own and one is a "foster" (no really she is mine too).

Today I join the academy. I live in Houston. Im a little nervous seeing the investment I just made. I know I have to do it now or my wife is going to put me out...lol...I plan on taking one step at a time. I am very encourage that I can succeed by reading the adventures of other investor and looking forward to taking to some of you guys soon...I must say that I was motivated to make the next step by a lady the name of Beth whose journal inspired me...

Kat's RE Investing Journal

March 29 - I went to my first open house after finishing Dean’s book “Profit From Real Estate Right Now”. On Saturday I put on my “To Do” list to first buy the Sunday paper & look at the open houses and second go to 1 open house. The morning came and I found myself nervous about going to even get the Sunday paper.
