Which of Dean's Best Selling books would you suggest I start with? I plan on reading them all because even though some of them are older, you never know what you may pick up. I have 4 or 5 of Dean's books, but don't know where to start.

OK, I'm going to come totally clean here. I've been with all of you for about 5 years now and, this is going to hurt, I have not done my first deal yet. I have the knowledge, I have the skills, but I don't have the courage to take the action necessary to do what I need to do. I have a fear of what people are going to think of me. I went over to my mothers about a week ago to visit and she said she had something for me. Now understand, she dose not know anything about what I'm trying to do. She handed me a booklet from 1977 that I used to get monthly when I had a paper route, The Grit. She said, "look at page 12". I opened to that page and there I was, 14 years old and a star salesman, I was the only star salesman in the state of Vt.

What is your routine in the morning ?? You can triple your success rate in just changing what you do in the morning !! Be aware of what exactly you do every morning as soon as you open your eyes. Do you hit the snooze button ? Do you jump up and get rolling ? How about when you stumble into the bathroom ? Do you turn on the light to go to the bathroom or do you just keep your eyes half shut because you know your surroundings so well ?

I was looking for agents and there was one instance where I left a voice-mail and then got a wuick reply. The real esteare agent wants to speak with me before he starts sharing insight on the market since, of course he doesn't want to be used. We will talk tomorrow but there is something that keeps me uneasy. This agent said that he wants to work with serious investors and that hew ould like to talk about my expererience,etc.

I don't have much experience, however I am serious about it. Right now I have a business entity, I have a tax lien in the States and I have owned a rental prooperty before, however that was in large part due to outside support rather than my own doing, so I can't say I got much experience from that.

I hope you had a 'plan' to use this so you know how to move forward and wasn't impulse buying to get rich on the hype of REI... because, MOST ppl (96%) get overwhelmed, Never start and put it in a closet 'for later'. Later never comes.

Once you recieve the REI Course, you will say "OMG" what is ALL this??

It IS overwhelming to say the least and there is NO way you will ever Learn All of it.... so

FOCUS on just on form of REI- just one that you think you can/want to do and learn ALL about just that.

Pick one.

Wholesale, fix/flip, notes, billboards, laundry mats, storage units, apt bldgs it doesn't matter.

Just one!

The below link is an article about whether 2nd mortgages can be discharge and ruled voided in a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. For any of you who have thought about investing in notes this should be of interest to you. Even though this is an 11th Circuit Court ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court will now make a final ruling covering the country.
