Need a burning desire

For many years people have been blaming their fate or destiny for their failures. Many people believe that success is derived out of your past life karma. I honestly don't know much about karma and being born with a fate but I surely do know and believe that we humans have the power to change our fate and destiny. For those, who still disagree with me will soon change their thinking.

Creating Opportunity

An enterprising person is one who comes across a pile of scrap metal and sees the making of a wonderful sculpture. An enterprising person is one who drives through an old decrepit part of town and sees a new housing development. An enterprising person is one who sees opportunity in all areas of life.

To be enterprising is to keep your eyes open and your mind active. It's to be skilled enough, confident enough, creative enough and disciplined enough to seize opportunities that present themselves...regardless of the economy.

A person with an enterprising attitude says, "Find out what you can before action is taken." Do your homework. Do the research. Be prepared. Be resourceful. Do all you can in preparation of what's to come.

Desire

You can always get what your heart desires most because you are willing commit all your energy and resources to attaining that desire, and have the perseverance to stay with it no matter what happens or how long it takes. The only thing limiting you is belief. It is having disempowering beliefs that will hinder you from unleashing the full force of your power to attaining your desire. But if your desire is strong enough, it will compel you to look for all possibilities and in the process cause you to find knowledge and awareness that will shift your beliefs in alignment with allowing you to do everything you can to make your desire a reality. Dreams come true, for without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

Get organized

If disorganization is congesting your life and you're feeling scattered and frustrated as a result, it's time to get organized. To achieve organization on the outside, you will need to take steps on the inside, by clarifying your priorities, objectives, and how you want your belongings and lifestyle arranged. Try to keep stuff where it belongs. Know what you need/want to do, when you are going to do it, and avoid the stressful situation of not knowing what needs to be done. Organization takes time, but when you get into the habit of it, life becomes so much easier!

Don't Quit

. Think like you want to be...
It is hard to be happy, joyful and successful; if you don't think that you are a happy, joyful, and successful person. Think it first. Then do it! Talk it into existence. Successful sports professionals visualise themselves cross the finishing lines and collecting the gold medals' long before such events materialise. You need to adopt the same mental attitude.

2. Smile!
There's no arguing with this one -- research has shown the smiling has both psychological and physiological effects. So, put a smile on your face and you'll be on your way to a change in attitude! (Read my previous ezine article entitled, 'Smile!' dated 21/08/06)

3. Immerse yourself

Go forward

View past performance only in terms of experience. You may have some regrets concerning things that you've done incorrectly or failed to do completely in the past, but don't dwell on these things. It's counterproductive. What counts is what you are doing now and what you plan to do in the future. Those who live in the past are doomed to failure. The world is not going to stop turning or slow down just for you. You must keep up with the times and the most current technology. While it's worthwhile and useful to study and know history, it's more worth while and useful to be able to use your knowlege of history to prepare for the future. One must use the most technologically advanced tools available to their fullest capabilities.

Do not make excuses

Do what you think is right and don't apologize for it. You don't need to defend or justify either yourself or your decisions. If your actions don't achieve your goal, admit it, file the experience in your memory, and continue with your plan of action. Persevere! Very often, it's the person who keeps slugging away who wins. Don't expect life to be fair and luck to be always on your side. Your abilities must make up for bad luck and unfair situations. Admit yur mistakes, learn from them and focus on the future.

Do not fear failure

No one can be 100 percent correct 100 percent of the time. The best you can do is couple all of the information currently at hand with you past experience and historical knowledge to make the best decision at any given moment. Even when you do fail (and you will) it's an excellent learning experience. At least you will know what not to do in a specific situation. If you fear failure, you will never be able to make a difficult decision that may require a calculated risk. By fearing failure, you prepare yourself to become oe of those cautious people who tries to win by not losing. If your're afraid of failing, you will never achieve true success or win a decisive victory. Only people who never do anlything make no mistakes. That's the greatest mistake of all.

Just take action

Nothing is ever going to be perfect. You can spend all of your time rethinking and revising your plans and never get started let alone get your busisness off and running. There comes a time when you must simply stop planning and put the plan into effect. If you continue to wait for a perfect plan or for perfect conditions there no such thing. Too much analysis causes paralysis. Just go do it.
