Got my little corner of the garage set up with desk, printer and new maps for the wall, those are for my target areas.
I wrote down other things I will need such as majicjack phone, bandit signs, business cards and flyers just to name a few.
Feels good to get back to work!

Got phone line all set up, looked on Craig's list for repeat numbers and hot spots. Just snooping around im not starting my search (buyers) just yet, im not done with my setup yet, don't over think this I just want to be ready for all go!

Had a nice long talk with a contractor about working together and he is on board.. Also have a couple of my son's friends who said they would handle my bandit signs for me, of coarse im going to train them to do it the way I need it done, old saying location location.
My Realtor moved away so its hunting season again, that's ok I like talking with those folks.
I've got a handyman I've used for years and he's on board also as always, he's one of those guy's that can do anything.
It's kinda part of my power team, it's word of mouth and Im getting some calls from people that know im back into investing, im letting everyone know!

Dude my heart goes out to you- my wife left for mex a yr n a half ago you cant compare its a miniscule the level of pain but my heart is with you.

Yes im setting up for wholesale but im also going to do buy fix sell and when the right one's come around I will hold for long-term.

I decided to take the day off and spend it with my son and friends. I picked up 20 acres last year for 50 cents on the dollar and it had a big tree that needed to come down, tree is now gone and it was a nice day with family and friends...

I went and looked at a couple of houses my bird dog brought me, its getting around that im back at it again, crazy how fast that happened.
Both homes need 15-20k and slap the ugly off. I still have a few buyers in my pocket that like these types. So im going to write up the scope of work that needs to be done and work on contacting owners.

Im not ready for a rehab just yet so my out is "assign it".

Its crazy how hard it is to come up with a name, I need biz cards and with all that has happened I wanted to some how tie it all together..
Getting bandit signs ready, yellow with black marker going to target both buyers and sellers.
I've still got a bunch of flyers that Suzette and I used when we littered the town when we first started, lol I have to laugh on that one she said we would get into trouble for doing that. We plastered these things everywhere, drove down the road and just tossed em out the windows in parking lots, just went crazy... NO im not doing that now, got a few calls we didn't want on that trip lol...

for a business keep it simple i love the American bald eagle so i named my business in reference to that

I took 8 months off but I still stayed in touch with my buyers to let them know I would be getting back into REI and they understood, they are at the top of my list and the first I will call on any deal I get.

I've got a few names ( biz ) im tossing around but not sure just yet but I am trying to keep it simple..

Printed contracts out so I have them readily available but I still want to run them through an attorney, need to get that power team member still!!

Im still working on the 10 hr a week schedule and all is looking good.

Still working on those two owners who are playing hide and seek, so far they are winning but im not giving up..

I've been looking on craigslist for my area and finding a lot of wanting to L/O to buy..
I love L/O so that's going to be part of my marketing when it comes time to open the doors..
Im still setting up shop but getting close, as you can read im in no hurry I just want to get it right....

When I wrote my journal I wanted anyone reading it to know that when life throws you a curveball and you feel like you cant go on anymore.. STOP THINKING THAT WAY AND GET BACK TO LIFE.........
I don't mean to be so dramatic, it took me 7 months to come to terms with my life changing moment and to come to peace with what has happened.

Now im back to life with an angel watching over me...

Im starting over and I want all to be part of it..

Ok its been a few days for me on here I have been learning things the best way I know how "hands on" and its been tough..

I have a rental that the drain pipe from the kitchen ( T's )that connects to the rest of the house broke. In the bathroom we (contractor and I ) had to pull toilet take all tile and base boards out cut through the concrete go down 13" replace "T" then replace concrete, tile and base boards but not finished yet, going to paint bathroom and replace counter top for sink unit.

Don't tell me how much it will cost, I already know.. Thats why I like to do it myself at least one time..

I have been working on setting up first, its been coming along fine a little slow but that's ok I planned on that.
I will be working on my buyers list first through a number of methods, I put a post on here for "Buyers" that's for me and others to use.

I think im going to make a post for every step of the way, yes I know Dean has done this for us but I want to get responses from DGers, if we talk about it think about it hopefully it will motivate us to do it...

This is more for me than anybody.

I thought I was ready, I was wrong!

I not only lost my wife but I also lost my REI partner, my weakness was her strengths and vice versa. So damn hard to go outside of your comfort zone it took me back to needing her again,then it hit me that GOD needed her as an angel.
I am going to reopen the doors again this I know.

I took a year off and did a lot of flying just to find myself again,crazy how hard this is that someone can make such an impact on us. That's love.

Again this is for me..

Slowly getting back at it doing my thing, "IM HEALING AND IM OK", she's looking out for me I know this....
