Hey Guys, I know their is a lot of people out their that feels the same way I do. Lets see what we can say good about them and what they have done for us. Its like the old saying if someone does something good for someone they might tell one person, But if they do something bad they will tell 100. Like I say all the time thanks Dean, Matt, Drew and all the PMI staff from top to bottom. I can never repay what has been given to me.

The Coaches are great. Not only do they help you with getting a good deal they also keep you from buying a bad deal. Every deal I have made an offer on I have ran it by a coach. Do they say what you want to hear, not all the time, but they will say what you need to hear.
The PMI on line classes are great. If you really want to learn about every type of a deal, you need to take these classes. We have over 40 classes in our on demand.
We have a lot of respect for the coaching staff at PMI

i will get the negative out of the way first. i have talked to one coach who did not and would not help me at all, despite having the kinds of deals in the works that i was asking him about. (i do have to be honest) but....with that said.....my personal coach is awesome and i love her. i have also talked to another lady coach who was wonderful and such a sweetie. i've had 2 bad experiences with coaching before PMI, so PMI was very careful to give me what i needed, and not just what works for someone else. i have not used them as much as i can because i haven't worked a deal yet, but i will as i move forward. i will also say that i am much farther along because of PMI, and i've been at this 10 years. i am known in 3 RE clubs in 2 states as the most educated person around and have been on the boards, been an officer, been a leader with round table activities, helped put people and deals together, etc. because of that education. i say that not to brag, but to say that PMI is what has moved me forward most of all. and i also have to say that this website has been the best way to stay accountable and make true friends in REI. those 2 things and i will have a L/O deal here before long. Thanks to Dean and all the DG family!!!

I have some personal favorites there and one that makes me curdle when I talk to that person. Just absolutely LOVE Diane and Karen and Jeff and Greg and on and on! Just wish, like you Linda, I had a personal coach, but as I understand now, you have to pay like $34K to get that. (That's not what I thought going into it though).
They are always adjusting to our needs. Last week they hired an investor with a lot of experience with trusts. Guess Dean noticed that it was needed by checking out the posts here. I don not have problems getting through, and when they have their weekly meetings (I seem to call every time they're in a meeting), they call back within a few house. (Reminds me, I need to call them back). I call them a lot. Any time I had any question or doubt about anything however small, they help me.
I'm 77% done with my courses (slowed down a lot since doing deals). They are very comprehensive and tell you all the steps you need to take. VERY thorough with marketing I will say! So many things there's no way to do it all as one person. (At least with 4 kids )
Hi Vin. PMI is Professional Marketing International and they are the Success Academy.

Trying to get buyers:
I have made several calls to Remax and Keller Williams and asked for the "CASH SOLD" list and i get the same answer everytime which is "we do not catergorize what houses were bought like that" or "we do not have it". Am i doing something wrong and/or do you guys know a different route for me to take?
You can always use the bandit sign. That has worked for a lot of investors.

If I was to use the Bandit sign route to get my buyers, what am I to write on them and when i get a call from who ever calls what am I to say to the potential buyer or what do i say to find out if he/she is a buyer?
I have nothing but good things to say about the the on line classes and training. I still have several note books full of the downloaded work books that go with each training. The coaches always pointed me in the right direction. There is NO question that I would be where I am today without Dean, PMI and the coaches.
However, you must take what they teach and apply it through taking action. No course, coach, the latest software etc. etc. will ever GIVE you a successful business. You must do that yourself. Get over the fear, take what you have learned and start making offers. Then the real education begins!!
One more thing, when Dean says he will refund your tuition in full if you do 5 deals in your first year, he will do so without question!! I got mine, so with effort and putting into practice what they teach my education was FREE!!
YOU CAN DO THAT TO!! IF I CAN DO IT SO CAN YOU!! GET INTO TH E ACADEMY NOW!!

PMI coaches are super amazing.
I have posted on this several times. Here is just a few of the things they have personally help my self and my partner with.
Marketing: I have called several times and asked about signs effectiveness, how to change them, how to make them better. I was given some awesome examples and personally have a property under contract because of one of the signs they suggested I make and where to place it. Same with online ads as well. They showed me randys link and let me tell you we use the heck out of those signs:)
Phone calls: I have gone over and over with several of the coaches on what to say, how to say it, questions I had, and they even went out of their way to bring up any objections the sellers or buyers might ask. One perfect example was when I went to get a property under contract with one of my sellers and I never even thought about asking them to not be their for viewings. My coach brought that up. I have role played with them to get more comfortable, and so much more.
Contracts: LOL this one has to be the one I call on consistently because things always come up that are different. Guess what they are right their and they help.
Funding: I was given a couple of leads on where to go and what to do.
Support: When you are having trouble or a road block they discuss this with you and try to help you get past it and make progress to move forward.
Online classes: The classes are so detailed and so informational. There is so much to learn. You have to make sure you do the action items. It is what prepares you for everything you need to do. and again any questions on those you call PMI boom right there to answer your questions. Also there are forms, contracts, check lists, trackers, the works, Use them they are amazing.
What more can I say? What more can we all say other than those who had trouble I am sorry to hear but I truely cant see how with all the information given and support.
Lastly. This site its self is all for FREE!!! there is so much information here if you just look and search you will find it. There are so many helpful people on here that the only things stopping anyone is rejection and fear. Keep on pushing and keep going. You will get it and you will get there.

Robert,
I had the same problem! So here is what I did.
I said ok can you please send me a list of all the properties that sold in zipcode 99999 with in the last 6 months.
you can ask for more than one but once you get them just click on the listing and at the bottom it will tell you sold, how many days it took to close and also in the corner it will say either
cash, conventional, VA, FHA
I hope that helps

Do you have any of Dean's books. The reson I ask is I do not know how much you know about real estate investing. If you read the books Dean has writen the books tell you a lot about bandit signs and other resorces.
I need to know Robert how new you are so I or other students can explain things on REI to you at your level.

I was completely new to Real Estate a little over a year ago and there is no way I would have come as far as I have without the coaches and the classes at the Success Academy. There were times I called them just because I was overwhelmed with information and didn't know how to sort it out.
It has taken me much longer than I thought to get money coming in, but I have complete confidence that it will happen for me. I couldn't make the 5 deals in 1 year, but I have started a business, I'm beginning to build credit, I bought an REO, I learned a lot about Fix N Flips, what NOT to do as well as moving to the next one that WILL BE successful.
I did find my own direction and became so busy that I never finished the last two courses. I still have them printed out sitting on my couch. When my new flip is on the market, I'll have time to relax and start finishing some of the studying.
I have nothing but good words to say about the Success Academy.
Margaret
I LOVE IT!!! The coaches have been amazing, I am moving very quickly to get this all going and it is nice to have a coach that is willing to work as quick as you are needing too. I am having so much fun with this and my wife and i are excited to get our first deal!!

I'm glad the coaches has helped so many people,I have not been that fortunate, its been along time since I called them,I was calling them quite regular at one time,I kept getting the same to guys, and they started getting tired of me calling in all the time,I'm a little slower than the avg. joe, thats while I was calling in so much,I wished they helped me like they did alot of you.

Sorry, I have interrupt this thread to ask for your help.
Does anyone know how I can find Matt Larson's method of contacting the cash buyers in a specif area? I have been searching the forum for his thread for this information. For some reason, the forum does not allow search functions.
I wanted to use the letter or the idea to contact cash buyers in my area. I have been search all day for this information. I would appreciate either a generalized forum response of private response.
Thanks,
Matthe
Hi Mike,
That is what you paid for, if you have to call them 300 times in a day, so be it, you paid good money to be able to do so. I would not let 2 coaches there intimidate you. There is one coach there that does not like talking to me when I call. I'm not sure why, but that person gives me the impression that I'm asking dumb questions and seems very impatient. I look at it as its not my problem, and I'm not going to let anyone dictate how many times I call in because of one coaches attitude.
I hope you will start calling in again as often as you need to, because the reason you joined is because you want the expertise of people who have been doing this for years. Your paying for that experience. I would definitely call in to the representative you signed up with and tell him or her of your experiences. I know for a fact Dean would not put up with a coach making someone feel bad for calling in all the time. That is what they're there for!
I have to say, I hardly ever called the coaches - and what a mistake that was. I can only imagine how much faster I could have learned if I did. But I wasnt one to reach out for help, and felt all my questions were dumb. Dont do that to yourselves! So all of you who for any reason feel intimidated by calling in - put that behind and call, call, call! Its what your paying for and what you deserve. You cant get along with everyone - so call back until you get someone you click with. I can say without a fact that without the success academy and the online lessons I would not be where I am today! So thanks Randy for posting this thread, and a big thanks to Dean, staff, and all the coaches!

my story:
http://www.deangraziosi.com/node/10404
I just started the Academy late September; I've gotten pretty far reading the assignments, but haven't done any deals yet.
My coach has called in sick twice already since I started, so I have missed two meetings with him; the first time I called in (to inquire about my coach missing our appointment) one of the coaches there made me feel a bit 'stupid' for asking a question-I think it may be the same one Tammy is referring to (?); then I called another time and spoke to Diane- I wish she was my coach-she is sooooo nice!!!! and she also gave me some suggestions.
I still haven't figured out what my assigned coach is there for- is he suppose to guide me, or cheer me on, or just be there for questions I may have???
Anyway, I'm still working through the assignments and have learned a lot from that...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this was my experience. Your coach is there to determine which course to put you in. Then you just call in anyone that answers the phone. You have to pay extra to have your own coach. Having a coach to contact and keep up with your progress would be so awesome. So many great things... help you determine the road to take, address the concerns you have, assess your progress and adjust your scope and tract of action. Mine has changed tremendously since talking to my personal coach, which was a one time thing at the very beginning. But, I wish I had my coach the whole way through my success academy, that's for sure! If you've paid to have one, utilize him al the way. I bought into the Tier II of 3 and the coach assigned to me is not included with any tiers; only the initial consultation. I think I'd be even further along with that benefit. To have an assigned coach you have to pay extra.
ight now I'm going a completely different track than my training is set up for. I believe its all the same courses, just arranged in a different order; but the goals in the system are not aimed at what I'm working on right now.
Keep at it; it will all fit together soon!
We have had good luck with all the coaches. Now they can not give you legal advise if that is what some sudents want. We have talked to just about every coach and if they do not know the topic as well as another coach they will refer you to a coach that knows about the topic you have a question on.
The Academy has worked well for us.

I do have a coach assigned to me, I believe for six sessions; at the beginning he did put me on 'asignment strategy' to follow; we talk at a regular scheduled time once a week and he asks me if I have any questions, and then tells me to work on getting some buyers on my buyers list and continue with the lessons....he's really nice, but as I wrote earlier, I'm not really sure how to make the most of their knowldege, but at the same time I don't want to 'abuse' their service. I definitely have learned a lot through the lessons of the academy-before I joined I didn't even know what an assignment of contract was! even though I had read DG's books; everything in the books now makes more sense to me, but I'm still a bit reluctant to go out there and make a deal before I feel like I know what I'm talking about...
I don't know what tiers you're talking about-, that was never mentioned to me; but for me, having a coach call me regularly helps, because I don't think I would call them otherwise...
thanks for all your postings-they've been very helpful and inspiring to me!

Awesome you have a personal coach! I thought mine came with a coach but I guess it did not. The 3rd tier just included asset protection in addition to everything else. Ask them anything. Tell him how you're feeling about doing a deal; he'll help you through it, tell him if you're having issues getting everything done, or if he has any ideas on how to push past the fear part (we all go through that!)
My husband had a cow that it was $7500. I thought that included a personal coach but I guess I wrote it down wrong.
It is CERTAIN we will SUCCEED!
PS: I'm glad my posts have helped you out! One of my goals is to help others succeed too!
Thanks so much for the encouragement, the people on this site, like yourself is going to keep me moving forward.

When I first joined, about 3 months later I got brave enough to call a coach, and "he" was short with me, and made me feel stupid.
Couple months later, I called again, got another guy and a bit helpful, but informed me how not ready I was to do anything. Until I put my first house under contract in Racine, finally had to call with a question. I have had Sherri, Dawn, and Karen? not sure, all of them really got me motivated again.
So if I get one of the guys now, I'll just call back later.
But the girls are great!

You are already on your way. Start reading chapter 10 page 205 of PFREN book. This book has all of the information you are asking for on how to find buyers. This is it, there is no secrect sauce. If you take action using the techniques from this book or the academy you will have succsess.
