OfflineJill & I have We Buy Houses Any Condition with our phone number on all 3 of our vehicles. They are simply Yellow backround with black lettering.
Not only have we gotten several calls from them, but just closed on a property last week as a result of the seller seeing our car.
The Best part is that she wanted $ 25,000 for the property & we got it for $ 18,000.
We have done this deal with a fellow DG Member who lives in Ohio & we are here in Florida.
In less than a week we have cleared out the overgrown brush in the yard, painted the exterior of the house(which was brutal with 95 degree/85% humidity)
including the trim, cut up & disposed of the carpet & started painting the interior.
We will be replacing kitchen cabinets, appliances,
light fixtures & ceiling fans, & of course paint & carpet.
We should have about $ 4000 in materials, & be able to sell it for $ 35,000 to $ 39,000. Now, 13K to 17K is not "big" money, but not bad for 2 to 3 weeks of
us doing the rehab ourselves. The greatest thing about
it is that we don't work for anyone but ourselves.

On our cars we have 2; on each side on 1 door. On our work van we have 2
2' X 3' yellow with black lettering, WE BUY HOUSES, ANY CONDITION, PHONE # on each side. On that truck we have 1 on each front door & 1 on 1 rear door that say WE BUY HOUSES, but also Cash-Quick Closings & Rent to Own with the
phone #, these are red & black with white background.

Did you use a special font or a handwritten proof, sent to your print shop? Can you post a picture of what your sign looks like? I thought about using the script font because of the cursive writing, but I'm having 2nd thoughts about the font.

I don't know about the one that Gary and Jill used but with Vistaprint they have a lot of different designs that you can use and you can put them together how you want--moving things around, making your phone number bigger, etc. However you want.
I recommend very basic without a lot written on them so that they can get the idea and your number quickly. Remember you AND them may be moving vs a stabilized bandit sign where they can stop and write it down.
When I am out now, I avoid parking in lots and choose street parking as my first choice for more exposure.

I had some on my car that I purchased from Vistaprints. They almost permanently damaged the clear coat paint on my car.
It is imperative that you take these off at night, dry both sides and dry the area on the car where the sign had been. Evidently, moisture can collect between the sign and the metal on the car and leave spots on the car. NOTHING takes them out because the clear coat is damaged. It took one year with the sign off and the car sitting occasionally in the sun to get the damaged spots to fade. I had visions of my car value going down because of the paint damage.
So use magnetic signs but take care to remove every night, dry down, and only put them back on when you drive out.
I have also purchased magnetic car signs for my truck from Vistaprint. They look great and are really eye-catching. Mine are just a little bit more elaborate with my company logo on them as well as what I do, but they work just the same.

Thanks for the shirt advertising advice! I placed an order for my first We buy houses shirt, earlier this morning, along with my new car magnets. Both came out to be a total of $52. I have to say, the original proof on my pc turned out ok. I might make a separate post, to show what mine will look like.

I can't speak for the other online companies but you can set up a design on your computer and upload it to Vistaprint.com to make your magnets. I did this for my business cards and they came out just as they did when I was printing them myself. This way, you could have a colored background and any font you have available on your computer without having to pay for the extras like photoshopping. Just another way to save some $$$ and still get the word out.
