OfflineGot a bit of a head start on Sunday, I placed ads on Craigslist and Backpage.com so my phone will start ringing. Printed a few thermostats to keep me motivated. Finished unpacking, doing laundry, cleaning, got groceries so I would get that 'menial' stuff out of the way... LOL! Read my quick start methods to get me going today.
8:00 AM Go to post office to get mail on hold
Drop off food donation to shelter
9:00 AM Cruise a neighborhood on way home
Call pool service to get that set up
10:00 AM Return calls from ads placed on Sunday
Call on FSBO I found cruising
11:00 AM Call on ads I found online
Have lunch
12:00 PM Check DG Forum answer ?? & PM
Post My Journal
12:30 PM Waiting for pool guy and return calls
Spoke to Realtor to revise my searches
Signed up for this month's REI meeting

I spoke to a contractor today, we're going to walk through the property tomorrow to get an estimate on the repairs, then after I crunch the numbers I will submit my offer. If I get this I will be able to attend the EDGE this year. I really want to go so say a prayer for me, light a candle, keep your fingers crossed, whatever you do... I need all the help, support or luck I can get. ;D

I was privileged enough to go to the EDGE event here last year. It was a fantastic, life changing opportunity. If you're able to go you really should. Being there with other DGrs and Dean is such a rush! Everyone was genuine and shared their experiences and knowledge so freely. It was absolutely amazing!!

We're in the same boat as you. If we had the money from a couple deals, I'd be getting on my first airplane in a heartbeat to get down there, but I don't think it will be this year's EDGE. We'll have our eyes on next year, though!

Thank you, thank you, for all your support dear sisters!! Is it any wonder I call the wonderful people here my family? With my DG family members always on my side how can I go wrong? It's impossible!
If I don't make it, I take comfort in knowing that it will be so someone else can be here that really needs to be. God works in His own way and I have complete faith in Him. I'm blessed enough to live near Scottsdale so I can still meet up with you for dinner afterwards and hear all about it.

It's with great sadness that I write this, but I wanted to briefly explain why I have not answered any calls or emails. I recently lost my newborn grandson and we've been living a horrible nightmare ever since. My daughter is still in the hospital due to complications and possibly negligence. I would just like to ask everyone to pray for my daughter, my grandson and our family. That we can get through this tragedy..... My apologies to those that have reached out to me and I haven't responded to them.

I just got back from EDGE 2011. I wanted to hurry home and share it with you... I gotta tell you it was phenomenal!!! Meeting Joe & Stacey, Randy, Karen and ALL the awesome DGr's I've talked to. I just want to thank Dean and his amazing staff and everyone who spoke. The tools you gave us are SO empowering.... Dean goes above and beyond! Listen guys, I just want to say.... If you weren't able to make the event yet. Please, please, don't get discouraged. Just do 1 deal in the next 12 months. YOU CAN DO IT! Then take that money and invest it in your education whether it's through the Academy, the EDGE or Dean's courses and books. They've changed the lives of so many people. Yes, regular, genuine people like me and you. You could be next too! Dean's staff will have pics and videos of it up soon.... In the meantime I put a short video clip on my facebook page for all of you to enjoy!
