(150 miles from Chicago and located near the Mississippi River border of Iowa)

Second duplex is in Harvey, IL
(20-25 minutes south of downtown Chicago)

Both properties have upper and lower apartments.

I'm a newbie with DG and really excited about the University support we get. The Business Setup and Marketing workbook suggests slogans like: We buy houses fast.....14days for cash, etc. Here in Florida these billboards and ads are everywhere! I'm not concerned about the competition, rather the feedback that I hear from people is that these are perceived as scams. I want to be treated as a professional, not a scam artist. How do I get around this stigma? I'd like to hear from other DG members if they are using these ads and what other forms of advertising works for you?

I am looking in this area, but I have a buyer who is looking for a manufactured home (or regular home, but its probably out of his price range) for rent to own. He has some sex offenders in his neighborhood and needs to move FAST! If you have a home available, I am direct to the buyer, maybe we could get him in a home ASAP.

Garage: doesn't care
Type: home or manufactured home
Price range for a home: $50,000-60,000
Monthly payments: up to $500 per month
Option fee he can pay: $1000

I'm tired of visiting groups only to find they are "owned" by the presenters, who all have a product or course or mentors program to sell, I've been down that road before and wasted a lot of money... does anyone know of a legitimately great group of investors I can link up with in the area?
