Birddogging
August 31st, 2011 | posted by femailceoI would like to know if there is a forum specifically on birddogging, where we can't get and give advice. My big question as a newbie is what service can I provide a seasoned investor. Is it only that he doesn't have the time?

Probate Leads Recorded Message Script
August 30th, 2011 | posted by markbmI was wondering if anyone had access to a recorded message script that I could use to basically pre-screen probate leads to tell them why I'm contacting them, what are the benefits to them, etc
I would be sending them a customized letter that sends them to a free recorded message on my 1-800 number for purposes of possibly purchasing any homes they might have for sale, and I'd like to pre-screen them so that only truly interested parties would leave their info to followup with..
I really appreciate your help!

Building a buyers list
August 27th, 2011 | posted by markvol1I am trying to build my buyers list. One of the techniques that I am using is craigslist. I have posted 3 ads on there and haven't received a single call. I am using the same ads that are in dean's books or that I have found in the DG forums but not a single call. Any thoughts as to what the problem is?
Thanks,
Mark
Our website went live today! And we got a call on an ad!
August 27th, 2011 | posted by ksmusselmanI'm really feeling good about this now, especially after meeting with our RE agent on Tuesday.
We've been plugging away with craigslist ads; my husband and I each have our own accounts so we can post in different places. We got a call on one of the ads today too so right now we're playing phone tag with an investor. LOL
And earlier today I got a new email address for the business, then we registered our domain name and our website is now live!
Next we have to update our business cards with our new website and email.
I'm really psyched! I can't wait till make our first deal!
Elusive Buyers
August 25th, 2011 | posted by jfree98I just had a quick question that I hope the dg family can help me out with. Why is it that most cash buyers seem so elusive, standoffish, or unresponsive?
For example I am working on a few deals that are really good Turn Key Cash flowing deals. Even my realtor who I sent these deals over to said they are really good deals his buyers would love these and he can probably get me more. So I've been marketing myself to find cash buyers for these deals and I have been getting some phone calls. But why is it when I talk to these buyers, the phone calls are always rushed, they are never EVER fully interested ( for some reason my deals don't fit there criteria), never want to divulge what there buying criteria is, and if by email are really unresponsive.
buyers wanted
August 25th, 2011 | posted by markvol1I'm building my buyers list and after watching dean's blog about partnering up with other DG'ers I thought I would just post that I am looking for buyers if anyone is interested in the investing in the East Tn area send me a PM.
Thanks,
Mark
