Marketing to Buyers and Sellers

Business Cards?

Hi everyone,

I'm just curious what you all have on your business cards? I'm just about to get my first ever batch as a REI printed up and am wondering what should go on them. These are basically starting out cards that I can hand to people I meet at REI meetings and other places. I sort of envision them as a throw-back to the calling cards that were handed out in the olden days. Name, title, phone number, email address. Since I can't afford different ones to cover whatever hat I'm wearing at the time I meet someone I was thinking I'd keep it simple and straightforward.

I found an investor on craigslist

I found an investor on craigslist that posted :
LOOKING FOR COMMERCIAL OR RESIDENTIAL DEALS
60% LTV ON APPRAISED VALUE
EASY TERMS NO DOC
FAST ANSWERS
CALL ME WITH YOUR DEAL
What is LTV ??? Should I let him know that I can be a bird dog or find assignment contracts. Just learning and trying to figure out what order to do things in. I just found my realtor/Broker and she said she could help me find what im looking for.

Networking to Find Motivated Sellers

If you have been reading any of the recent real estate articles that discuss the "Making Homes Affordable" program, specifically the loan modification part, you will hear a lot of clamour about its inability to produce long term loan modifications for borrowers. It has produced short term solutions without the ability to convert a vast majority of loans to a long term lower rate, thus many borrowers are going to still enter into foreclosure after the short term fix expires.

honesty when dealing with realitors

OK here we are the first Monday after the holiday season. I don't know 'bout ya'll but we sure are glad to have the season behind us! Family visits are lovely but so is the peace and quiet after they are all gone...

Using the past few weeks to read Dean's books, and practically fill a note book with notes. We have searched this site along with applying what we have learned to researching our area it is now time to find our Real estate agent!

That brings me to our question.

A Creative Way To Find Alot Of Buyers Using Real Estate Agents

If I contact Real Estate Offices, like via fax, or possibly contact every individual real estate agent, via email, in town, lol not likely but that can be an option to find loads of buyers, and I tell them that I wholesale properties and if they send me buyer leads who are preaproved then or have cash or who are waiting because prices are "too high" and are looking to buy, and ask them to possibly get the criteria of what that buyer lead wants then I will let them basically be my seller agent and I will pay them 3% for each final sale price I close with whatever buyer they sent to me, at closi

Networking at Tax Lien Sales = Finding Investors

Where are investors? Where good deals are found!!! Tax lien certificate and deed sales will bring investors out of the wood work. These investors might be a little different breed than other investors, but you know two things about them...if they are at the auction they have cash and like great rates of return secured by real estate.

Attracting Buyers- Listing a House Earlier in the Year Might Be Beneficial

I was recently doing some research on zillow.com. According to data from Zillow.com, an online real-estate database, the volume of home sales was highest in June, July or August every year since 2000. In 2009, however, an $8,000 credit for those buying their first home--that expires on June 30, 2010 and requires buyers to have closed on a home by April 30, 2010--will force buyers to speed up their decisions. Historically low interest rates also suggest that sellers will face a busier market as early as February.
