OfflineIt is hard to believe that another Edge has come and gone. Sometimes I would like to have a rewind button to go and start the weekend over again.
Gain the Edge 2009 changed my life, forever, and I can honestly say "if I would have never made the investment, to go to The Edge 09, I would not be where I am today."
Every year since Edge 09 it has been incredible. It is wonderful to sit and talk to like minded individuals about something we all love. It is great to actually see that the people that are helping you on your journey to success are real and really do care. Also, it is great to always see Dean and know this man is amazing and does care for each and every one of us. I have to say, I do enjoy seeing people with that passion in their eyes and that desire to make a difference. Don't lose that feeling or passion from this weekend. Don't let life creep up and take that away. Keep The Edge spirit alive.
*I had so many people come up to me these past three days and say, "Stacey, I am so glad to meet you- you have helped change my life." My answer to that; I am touched, I know that Dean and my wonderful husband who I get to share my real estate journey with, have helped to change my life and knowing that I can help change yours, is a gift I truly cherish.
*I had one person tell me that they look at the past Edge video and keep rewinding the video to listen to my laugh 
My answer to that; Thank you! I love to laugh. But I think so many of you heard that this weekend. So much in life gets in the way and gets you down. But don’t let it. Beat the crap out of the negative. You made a commitment to change your life. When someone tries to take away your dream, you just smile, walk away and laugh on the inside.
* I also had someone tell me "Stacey you have been such an inspiration and I love listening to you share your success, but I'll be honest, I was so scared to come up and talk to you." My answer; Again I am touched to know that I am able to help people. Thanks Dean for allowing me to do that. But the biggest reason I mention this comment- don’t be afraid to go up to anyone and ask them any question, or even if you just want to say hello. I have learned a great deal by just asking. I have also learned that if you’re afraid; a great deal can be lost. Don’t be afraid! You can do this! We know you can! You will be amazed what you will learn, who you will meet and those people that you meet, those people have good contacts too.
My final thought on this thread and the reason why I brought all those comments up in the first place. Everyone came to The Edge this weekend for a reason. For those of you that didn’t come to The Edge, I hope to see you next year. But to everyone- remember why you are doing Real Estate- post it on your wall, in your car, at your office, etc. Post your why anywhere you need to- to keep your dream alive, to keep that energy from the Edge going, and to succeed at being the best you are capable at being.

....It was another great event and I am so glad we able to attend the event together. Sometimes no matter what challenges you run into along the way, you can find a way to make it happen when you are determined.

It was an honor and a pleasure to meet you and Joe and talk to you about banks! You guys are a wealth of information, and I was a little intimidated talking to you guys at first, but you guys, like Dean, are very down to earth and fun to be around!
My goal this week is to do an assignment right here in PHX. Only one thing left for me to do. Get a property under contract. Already build buyers list, power team, got 3 agents (something I haven't been able to do in CA for over a year now! LOL) Edge 2011 lit a FIRE under my butt and its still burning!

I was glad to finely meet you in person. Your sons are very good looking young men. Veronica and I had a very good time at the Edge this year. We are going to have a lot of deals completed by this time next year to share with the class of 2012.

I happened to have met up with the head of the biggest REIA meeting in town, well not just in town, in the ENTIRE COUNTRY... just by calling a RE office! What luck is THAT?!?!?!?!

ROFLMAO! Naw, as tempting as it was, those markers had a large girth... and I couldn't exactly hide from anyone

*smirk* They weren't normal sized markers; these things were oversized and I had to stiffle their aroma by putting the cap over them at any time I wasn't writing.
But, I suspect that the combination of the EDGE event and the markers are what has me bouncing off walls making all this happen so fast.

I am glad you enjoyed our video from last year. As you can see, Joe and I love to laugh. The great thing about this adventure we are on, we finally get to laugh more now. When you let the other stuff get in the way, the laughter seems to fade. But it is great to laugh and enjoy ourselves.
I hope I was able to inspire so many. I have learned so much and I loved being able to talk to all of you. It is funny, my friends call me Yoda, it was good to share my Yoda wisdom with you.
