I have three children (not so little); I am a widow but engaged to a wonderful man.

I have been investing in real estate since 2001. I started reading books and studying the concepts at least 10 years prior to investing.

I have two rentals and own about 20 vacant parcels mostly purchased through tax deed sales. One of the rentals was purchased through the county at a foreclosure sale. The other rental was my primary residence until I built my dream home, 10,250 square feet under roof lakefront home. I did it all through real estate investing. Flipping vacant parcels. That was a different economy that’s why I am studying Dean's techniques.

I am not sure where Bronson or Williston Fl are. I also have vacant property. I am really not interested in purchasing vacant land. In today's economy it seems that vacant land is not an assest. It costs too much in taxes to maintain them with no cash flow.

PS. I actually just sold four parcels to Habitat For Humanity. I didn't make anything (in fact I lost) but I no longer have them on my books as a declining investment. You may want to find the Habitat For Humaity office in that area and see what their top dollar is.

Thanks for the kind words Joe. I just had to unload some dead weight and put some jingle in my pocket. That allowed me to move towards positive real estate investments!

Did you notice I am helping you with the welcome committee greetings??? Eye-wink

...by the way in about a year or so when I am extremely rich I am coming 'down there' somewhere to do some fishin'... I know NSB is on the east coast but I am going to eventually plan a trip to fish somewhere near the 7 mile bridge for bull shark. I have read about that area. It's a long ways south from you isn't it?
