Hi Guys,

I have been summarizing Dean's book to outline my steps in the process and cannot find the document on page 162 of "Profit from Real Estate Right Now", which is called "Discharge of Agreement to Purchase". He has it on page 162, but usually gives you the web based doc. I could not find this in docs and forms, am I blind. Please show me where I can download this one. Thanks. Sean

Contract/assignment?

Hey everyone i have a quick question.

If You Have a assignment contract locked on a property for 30 days and find a buyer within those 30 days thats intrested in buying the property but because of advertising reasons such as internet ect where the buyer is not in are where the house is located. Can you have him place a deposit on the property even tho its an assignment? if not then why?

thanks to everyone who responded greatly appreciate it.

assignment questions

Right now I'm building up my buyer's list. I have a few and plan on finding REI groups and attending auctions. My question as of now is if I lock up a property for a 100,000 to wholesale it needs to sale for 30% below market value.

Is that what properties are selling for right now in the area (comps) or what it is potentially worth first of all. Second, assuming I find that scenario, doesn't the seller have to have paid at least 70,000 in equity or else owe money to the bank. How do I find the equity in properties that I spot out, just call and ask.

AUCTIONS

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to see if someone could help me out when it comes to auctions. This would be my first deal and I really want to get it right!

I have an uncle who is selling a house. His agent so far has not been able to do it. My uncle is definitely not interested in a Lease Option.

However, He is letting me see the house this coming weekend and I am thinking about pitching him an offer of letting me have it on contract for 30 days with the option to hold an auction within those 30 days. (Im thinking starting procedures like day 22)

WOW!

I just finished reading this book (I woke up in the middle of the night and had to finish reading it)!! Too bad I have a job to go off to, but I do have a long weekend coming up.

Where to start? So many things to do, find a mortgage broker, find a real estate agent, set up voice mail, set up web page, post ads... Can't wait for the calls to start rolling in!

Thank you Dean! Can't wait to meet you some day!

Meeting with my 1st Realtor today at noon!

Hello All!

Relatively new to the DG forums, but first and foremost - HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAN! Secondly, I have read PFRERN twice and am "ready" to start. I am meeting with a Realtor for the first time...kind of nervous!

Wish me luck! I will keep everyone posted!

Real Estate Investing with no money? + Introduction

Hi everyone, I just got this book in the mail a couple days ago and i'm on chapter 3.

So far it's been very inspiring and motivational, to help fuel the fire i've sparked.

However, I keep hearing the mention of making profit with little or no money of your own.

Well I fall into the second category. I'm 20 years old, and I will stop at nothing to do something beneficial and progressive for my life and the lives of my loved ones.

Question about doing assignment deals with Realtors

Hi everyone it's been while since I last posted here on the DG forums, even though I've learned alot about this whole thing of real estate, it still doesn't do me any good if I don't use the knowledge I gain and take action. So no matter how much I know about real etate I will always be considered a newbie until I get in the game. So I was wondering, how would my realtor (representing me) get paid from me assigning deals to other buyers? I mean how do they get their cut of the deal if I just keep passing em off to other people?

True Inspiration

Greetings to the DG Community,

Making the Offer

In the example presented on the book on pages 134 and 135 about making the offer something was missing. Maybe is a missprint or let me know if I am wrong. If we are going to use Mats 25:1 system I think we should take into account the comission we are paying to our Star agent, Right? Or else my profits, according to the example couldnt be $5000. What percentage are we paying to the agent? Is that taken automaticly from somewhere else?
