Travis's Journal
August 23rd, 2008 | posted by ImperialxRatWell boy... So I finally have something to write about in a journal, so I decided to start one.
A real brief background about myself. I live in Orange County CA and am a pilot for ExpressJet Airlines. I am getting furloughed Oct 1st (furloughed is basically being fired, except they will eventually call you back to work), and hope to do REI full time!

I was very overwhelmed (still kinda am) Im starting with bird-doggin and reassigning. My credit is poor and Im in debt so first things first. As of today I have completed building a website for my new venture and its up and running and Im very nervous and scared still, not sure why but I am. My next move is to start placing ad's. I will post later when I've done more.

After many offers, 46 to be exact, we finally got our first one accepted. A little on the home; it's and REO with an ARV of 170,000, offer accepted at 95,000, repairs = 25,000-30,000. We are so stoked!

Carol Stinson's Journal... From Rags To Riches! Well almost...
August 18th, 2008 | posted by Carol StinsonMy husband and I saw Dean on television on 7/29/08 and decided to order his book and begin our venture to financial freedom.
We have a Home Remodeling Company in SJ and would like to incorporate Real Estate investing into our business.
Our goal is to be out of dept and financially free by the New year. We have 7 children and we now see the possibility of college in their future.
Dean's book has taught me how to dream again. It has given me the confidence that I need to face the future and change it one deal at a time.
