Today's the day for family, turkey, football (c'mon
Team) and gratitude.
It took me a while to realize that gratitude is an
essential component of success. Once I began showing
gratitude for the things I have in my life - good and bad - all the things that I hoped to have in my life miraculously began to appear.
This poem sums it up better than I ever could. Enjoy it and your day.
Be Thankful
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you
desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference.
It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.
GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings.
To being grateful every day...

John, you are exactly right. When I first read this Poem it was like I was in another world because it really makes you think hard, and when you are in that tough situation in your life these words will fall on you even more like your being hit down with a pile of bricks because it will really make you stop & think of the words your reading in front of you. It's not just reading it but allowing it to take hold of your life and see the change after you accept it. Enjoy your Thanksgiving as well & remember you're not alone here.
