I'd like to wish everyone at the DG family a very Blessed Thanksgiving Day! I, too, am very thankful for the many wonderful things I have been blessed with in my life, the good and the not so good. I believe all of what I have experienced has led me to you, Dean and the DG family. I am mostly thankful for the love of my family for without them, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I feel tremendous gratitude for all of you. You all give me hope and inspire me to look forward to a bright and optimistic future! Thank you again, Dean, Rina, John, and the rest of the DG family for all you do for everyone! We are all truly blessed by the Almighty! God bless you all from my family to yours. I think it was Tony Robbins who said, "when you start being grateful, you stop being afraid." I thought it was waaaaaay too corny to be true. To me, gratitude was a courtesy you gave someone who done something for you. When I found out I was going to be a father, it nearly scared me out of my skin. I knew I wasn't the first father in history, and I was not going to be the last. I wasn't going to be perfect at it, but I'd do a much better job than those who walked away from their kids. None of these things could wipe away the anxiety and fear, or even slow it down. I was on the fast track to Ulcer City, I almost flipped the car I was in (twice) speeding to the hospital. That night, I found out a Dodge Neon (4 cyl., automatic) will do 95 MPH before the engine starts glowing red and screaming profanities at you. But when I saw him for the first time, all that dread I'd been feeling for months... just... vanished. I mean, like it was never there at all. Now that I think of it, when I sign the papers to my first deal, my fear will probably vanish the same way, like it was never there. Happy Thanksgiving DG family, and take care...

May the rest of the holiday season be as warm as this one was & remembering what being thankful is all about.

Thanks for that beautiful poem. It is very apropos for the season that we’re in. Given the stresses of today I feel that we should always be grateful for what we have, be it small or large. One thing we all need to be is grateful that we are alive. Having a grateful attitude should keep us in a positive state all the time. Unfortunately with all the problems that go along with life it is sometime difficult to stay positive. Like your poem says we need to reflect on what we have and be grateful every day of our lives.
