OfflineHave any of you made a custom-made bandit sign hammer and/or a bandit sign stapler? I'm curious to know of how did you go about doing this. I already have some ideas in mind but, would like to know how you made yours. Thanks in advance for all feedback.

I created a bandit sign hammer and holder and it works fantastic.
What i did was went to home depot and purchased
1. cheapest wooden handle hammer available
2. piece of pvc pipe (has to be a little thinner than hammer)
3. cheap 1x1 piece of wood. I used a solid deck spindle
4. box of nails that have plastic washers attacthed to them. Found them down the nail and screw aisle. This holds the sign down better than regular nails. It will never come off unless someone takes it off
When i got home i shaved the hammer down to fit tightly inside the pvc pipe and cut the pvc pipe to the length I wanted it.
Next take the 1x1 and cut a slice along the top so that your bandit sign fits inside of it.
I simply put my sign in the 1x1 slice, push the nails into the sign where i want them to go. Hold the 1x1 up in the air and nail it down with my pvc hammer.
This works great for me and its CHEAP.
Now when I drive around i can get my signs up high without taking a ladder around with me and saves me time.

Add a black MAGNUM sharpie marker to write your add on your sign and you are in business!

Love the bandit sign lesson. Now all I have to do is come up with a logo to put on them.

Has anyone had any success with this method of advertisement versus using the yard sign stakes as mentioned in the RBB and on this website? Have you had any issues with the city or cities you post them in?
