Finding sellers on craigslist

Finding sellers on craigslist

Hi there!

I have been tough time getting people respond to my craigslist ad to attract potential sellers.

My ad says "I buy houses! Any condition! Any situation! 555-5555 MattBuys.com".

I put it under Housing Wanted section of the craigslist.

How are you guys doing with your craigslist ad to attract sellers?

Post it everywhere!

Posting you ads on Craigslist is great but you may have to post them in multiple areas on CL. in otherwords place it in the RE wanted section, in the for sale section, in the rental section, etc. Just think about all of the areas where your potential sellers might be looking and post an ad there. Then do it repeatedly - over and over again.

Honestly, posting ads is fine and occassionally I do get some responses. But, placing signs around town usually gets a better response than classified ads.

sellers - CASH FOR YOUR HOUSE

Matt

as Chris states above, post your ads in the "For Sale and Rental" areas and try other areas as well. Rent to own, owner financing, tired of paying Rent?, Own/Buy for LESS than Rent, Tired Landlords, etc.

One of My favorites is:

"BEHIND ON PAYMENTS?
NEED TO SELL?
ANY CONDITION
CAN PAY CASH
XXX-XXX-XXXX"

Its a known fact that ppl check their own ads and Will see yours.

Thank you so much!!!

Thank you so much!

My wife and I are working on our first batch of bandit signs now. Smiling I will go post them very early on a Saturday morning.

We will keep posting ads on craigslist as you suggest.

Thanks, Mike!

Thank you so much, Mike!

It is so very nice of you to share one of your favorite ads. Smiling I will try that today.

I think the key is to keep trying. Great successful people always fail many times before they succeed. I am not saying not getting good response to my ads is a failure, but I should never let that discourage me even a bit.

Have a great day!

Craigslist Ads

Hi. I noticed a lot of ads in this section about using Craigslist.org and I just want to remind some of you that when you do post an ad, you must reword it slightly so they, (Administration), does nos not think it's the same ad or they WILL remove it.

See you guys around.

Watch for agent/broker blowback/flaming

Has anyone on here had to deal with an agent or broker harassing them over CL for their ads? I'm sure I don't have to remind anyone how much they hate people they "think" are trying to "compete" with them for seller and buyer leads.

I just looked at everything on my local CL. 94% of all the For Sale postings were by agents with listed properties, and I've read about some very rude and unprofessional responses by agents to ghost ads and investor ads on CL. Any advice on handling these unprofessional "professionals"? All CL Admin needs is 2 or more complaints of the same type, and you might have all your ads (or you yourself) removed from CL.

Wow David

So what is the solution?
