Hello DG family,
I wanted to start a post to see how much support we could get for creating an iPhone / Android App for the Total View Real Estate website tool.
I've downloaded other real estate apps that show houses for sale in my area and they work great. Today it would have been really nice to pull comps while I was still at a house I just happened to drive by with a for sale sign in the yard.
It would be a really great addition to the DG tool box.
If you are interested in seeing something like this come to life, please leave your comments below.
Thanks.

Sounds like a winner to me.
Anyone else interested or is Nicho and I the only ones utilizing the smart phone technology? : ) Just kidding.
Thanks.

Only GOD can turn a Mess into a Message, a Test into a Testimony, and TRIal into a TRIumph, a VICTim into a VICTory. So on this day DG Family Smile! Don't give anyone the victory to steal your Joy! They didn't give it to you and they can't take it away from you unless you allow them too!

I would definitely use it. I have the zillow app right now and it did help the other day while I was out house hunting. A Total View app would be a no brainer!
I have an android and use aps. I access totalview on my phone by just going online with it. What's the advantage of it being an ap?

Hi, well I dont have an Iphone or Android. I use a blackberry and it's hard to see on the screen. So I go to my PC to access TVRE.
Best of luck to all!
The idea of having our websites be compatible with an Iphone/Android etc. is definitely on the discussion board. We have been swamped trying to get the new and improved DG.com up and running but if we do end up making our websites compatible with a mobile device you will definitely be notified.
Thanks!

the differences are slight depending on your phone's operating system. If you access it now via your smartphone's browser, the only difference you may see is speed of accessing info. apple and android use apps most effectively. windows phone just isn't as quick. (I know as my main phone is a windows phone)

this is a great idea, you guys should make one for the ipad.
The idea is very sound yet needs to be developed, the simple reason is the use of very different platforms. For example, many users have i-phone units, while others use androids, and others still use other types of devices. My unit is a Pandigital color unit with 4gb of on-board memory and a 32gb expansion slot with android 2.0 using an arm processor. So an overall consensus needs to be taken and results compiled and an app created or multiple apps for multiple users, welcome 21st century! In mean time, everyone can submit real estate apps that may be beneficial to the DG family. You guys are just AWESOME!

P.S. The only drawback - my device does not have flash player capability and needs an alternative to play videos.

We are switching this weekend from 2 years of Blackberry to iPhone and would love to have the app!

I would love that app. I too use the web on my android, but would also use the app if one was created!

I LIVE by my phones. Have a Blackberry and Android (business & personal lines). Blackberry is superior for email communication (in my opinion). Android - is my computer away from my computer!
I have bookmarked TotalView and saved to homescreen. But the: "could take up to 2 min to compile data", processing time has taking double that to fully load.
Total View AND DG App would be awesome!
Technology today has become such a luxury and much of a dependancy. Can't tell you how many video blogs, webinars, etc. I screen from my phone while out. Heck, instead of music at work, gym or commutes, I'll log in on my phone, pull up conference calls, stick earbuds in and feed my mind.
But do agree with a post above of having multiple OS mobile apps.
