I would network with people before meeting starts, during breaks
and afterwards. Ask other wholesalers if you can put them on your
buyers list and vice versa.
Hope that helps for starters!
Good Luck!
Yes, pass out your cards, and see how many connections you can make. Ask for names of good attorneys, contractors, re agents or whatever you might need. Yes also see if they would like to be on your buyers list. Best of luck! Tammy

Thanks for the response. Question I have is while networking and talking to other investors, 1st how do you initiate the conversation and do you actually ask to add them to "your buyers List"?
show up 30 mins early and talk to others as they arrive - stay after meeting
ask them how they got started in REI,how long, the best deal and worst deal they've done
you may find buyers, sellers and PML so talk and exchange bus cards/info
attend all meetings

I like to single out the people that actually have deals for sale. Often times they will be handing out fliers on the properties they have available. These guys and gals are the ones that are truly buyers AND sellers. Maybe you could provide a buyer for one of their deals OR find a property that they might buy!!
REI meetings can be a great source for building your team. A lot of times these REI clubs have vendors that sponsor the meetings. Like PM and HM lenders, attorneys, contractors, inspectors, title companies, agents etc. All are already investor friendly!!!!!!
Network, network, network, but be selective! REI clubs are filled with 85% TIRE KICKERS. Be polite, hand out your card and collect every ones card but move on to the next if they say they have not done a deal. You are there to do and grow your BUSINESS so network with the movers and shakers.
Good luck and have fun!

I usually take a second to write the date and location of where I met them. This won't be a problem with going to the first one, but after you've gone to several, you'll start looking at some of this business cards with a blank look on your face.
Also, it IS a good idea to meet as many people as possible, but I don't rule ANYONE out. Their was a guy I met, and he hadn't done any deals yet. But, then over the next 3 months he had done 4 deals and had plenty of buyers on his buyers list. You wouldn't want anyone to discount YOU, so don't discount them. Just don't get yourself stuck in an hour long conversation with anyone. You're their to network with lots of people. You can follow up with them at a later time and have a longer face to face time if it's warranted.
Hope this helps,

Here is a FREE property analyzer I've found:

It's a great tool to use to help analyze your deals (and did I mention it's FREE)! But, you really should spend the $97 and get the full premium edition! IT'S AWESOME!!
Thanks all for your responses, I will make notes and keep all in mind. Look forward to making some good contacts and help build my Power Team.
