I've been on and off this site, but since being on here consistently just this past month it is a blessing of a site. What better place to talk with like minded people who will only push you forward, that's how I feel about it. I've known about wholesaling for two years.. and haven't gotten a deal. But only because I was never persistent and at times let fear tell me it wouldn't work. If there is any advice I can give is don't be like I was and let fear stop you or take a day off! Who knows where I would of been if I just kept pushing. But i'm here forever and for good. This is our real estate future here! I can't wait till we share what deals we've made on this site.

Thanks for the welcome. I, too, find it a blessing. Having the support of others who understand what it feels like to be just starting out and give you encouragement to continue, is priceless. So, thanks again!

Yes, I think most of us have to do it scare; at least to start. Each item may bring the same feeling, example, finding a new re agent, talking to buyers, talking to sellers, etc, but we just have to push through and do it anyways!

You know you don't have to worry about buyers. Just bring me that deal!! I see your bandit signs all the time. I know you are out there working it!

I'm finding what you said to be true. I really thought I needed to have everything memorized and well rehearsed before even picking up the phone to make that first call. Then the truth hit me...I'm a loooonnnggg way from knowing it all, so I better just get started.

And you know what? I'm glad I did. I made some calls today and was able to add cash buyers to my list. What a great feeling!

Now I just have to do that....let's see....several more times! EEK!

Every journey begins with the first step so congratulations on taking that first step. I agree completely with Michael. Just take things a step at a time. There will be obstacles, road blocks, and all kinds of other things that will discourage you but if you will just be determined in what you are doing and seek out some help from time to time you'll get through it.

I'm posting this from a beautiful resort in Cancun, Mexico. My husband and I are on vacation, and funny thing is I really want to get back home because I know there is so much work to do! I downloaded Dean's (30 Days) book before leaving, so the information, inspiration and training stay fresh in my mind. This is the first vacation that I've taken that work is actually something missed! LOL! I must be just a little crazy ( in a good way)!

is that site you have on here your personal site? i mean as a buyer?

It is hard getting started and in the beginning we are easily discouraged and downright scared silly. But the longest journey begins with the first step. Think of the people we can help!

My husband and I came from Conroe Texas, we both took off work and have small children at home, but we spent the money and came to the Edge Event and I am so glad we did. The best way to succeed in my opinion is to surround yourself by intelligent smart people that have succeeded and still doing business. I learned something from every speaker. I have never been in a room in my life with others that are so positive and caring and willing to share. You never find that anywhere else. If some of you weren't able to come, I recommend you reconsider. I am a new me for going and I wish all of you the best success.
