Hey DGADMIN... Idea!

Think I've seen posts where it's been suggestd before, but nothing ever came of it. I think admin wants to keep everything in Forum format for education/knowledge purposes, etc.?!

with the education standpoint but it would be cool to be able to live chat with someone. You could even have Q&A sessions with coaches or something like that... Who knows!

I have suggested this too! I would like to have it so we can chat on here like on facebook or msn messenger. The forums are great for finding information and sharing information but if DG family members want to network and get to know each other quickly this would be a great way to do it! I know I have called you and Chase and Mike and a couple others but I would like to talk to alot more without running up my phone bill.

it would just be a little bit more user friendly and allow ease of networking...

you would have to set it up like facebook and make it so people would have to add you as a friend before they can talk to you because you don't want 100-200 people trying to talk to you all at once. You wouldn't be able to answer everyone. I think it would be a great think though.

lol yeah I agree but that is still building a network. I have a huge network on FB and get alot of support from that format.

disagree with you. It is VERY cumbersome (and frustrating) when trying to communicate sometimes!

Lane... hmmm well I guess good luck is all. Yeah one thing though "when you get started on deals" hopefully that is soon because you need to catch up on that first, points don't matter it deals so may I ask? WHERE ARE THEY??

If I may say there's no taking a day off when you have ALL this work to do numbers, offers, networking, phone calls, ahhh the madness never stops! Nah I'm kidding man don't worry the wise guy's advice will be put to use ASAP! But Monday is gonna be an entirely different story.

My personal home had its closing moved back by a few days so Monday it is! Stoked though, I already dropped $800 for paint, lighting, fixtures, lighting plates, etc. Stoked for our new home!!

Okay awesome! Well I guess you can cover my expenses when I close on my first personal home too right?

Forums have a moderator that can interact through the deletion of posts and comments that are inappropiate in the moderator's mind. Being that this website is a "captive" website that is dedicated to the principles of Dean's books; certain errant behavior becomes deleted as not to infect the general population.

However, in a chat room, software developers have made it such that only the members in the chat room are privy to the conversation. In a "captive" website, that idea is a dangerous one as there is no way to monitor what goes on.

This website promotes positive growth through the learning of techniques for everyone's use but it is not set up to promote private joint venture deals or auxillary ventures.

Hope this makes sense.

I think all you'd have to do is start a forum called "Chat Room" . I don't think it would break any rules, something to check into anyway. Bill, would that break the rules ? Doesn't appear to me it would.

I don't think you need to set up a chat room that allows multiple people access at one time, I don't see why a private chat wouldn't be an option. Who cares what goes on in them, it is two people talking about deals on a live second by second platform. It does not affect the general population and I think it would further the growth of learning techniques and student growth. You simply friend a few people that you network with through the forums and build your own little netwrok of people whom you work closely with.

Would there be anything wrong with people networking and creating private JV agreements with each other?

Thank you Bill. I wasn't for or against it. Just thought if it was within the educational rules... . But your right it could get out of hand. Yes it makes sense.

The request to add 'chatting' capabilities is currently on the discussion board, and we may implement this in the near future. We appreciate all the suggestions and ideas.

Why not set up a DG Chat Group over in Facebook ? Then no one has to Admin it.
