OfflineI know this might seem like a lame question, but what are all the insignia in user profiles such as bronze silver and gold medal , special contribution, Knowledge discovery and others that I know nothing about. Some like deal maker and Edge insignia are easy enough to figure out. Can anyone point me to where I can read about this stuff, and what the requirements are.
I don’t want to post just to post. I don’t have that many, and try not to post unless I have something useful to say or what I feel (to me at least) is an important question. But I would like to know about the insignia.

This is a point that comes up every so often and has gotten some very fun threads going regarding these "mysterious" badges. Badges that we are not real clear about but that most of us LOVE and ADORE getting!!!! Guys and gals.

Points are obtained by posting on the site. You get a specific number of points for each post or forum that is published on the site.
Points can be used on special offers only.. Whenever points are available to use, there will be a notification stating you can use a specific number of points to receive a discount.
Badges are given throughout your time on DG.com. Bronze, Silver, & Gold medals are given once you have passed a certain amount of posts.
