Offlinecould someone tell me if you have an LLC would you still register it downtown or at some local entity. I know you have to register a dba, but what about an LLC, etc. Tammy

You register by filling out the form and submitting it. Just make sure the LLC is then under a 'C' Corporation. You protect yourself from lawsuits & you get the best tax avantages. This is also a form you fill out but you need to write in the key words to get certain tax write offs.
I have a property 3bdrm, 2 bath worth 200k for 125k. Its vacant and needs little work but having problems finding an investor.
Secretary of State is what entity you will register with.
You can google LLC in whatever state you are in and find all the info you need.

I would suggest that you wait to create your LLC until you get some deals done... it's just added costs, and forms to submit annually that you won't be needing for a while...
