Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #229 - I’m Not Fooling Around Here

It happened to me. Thank you, Dean for sticking with me and everyone who is trying to figure out how to do, that 1st deal. I stepped out of the box and was at the door of this 1st deal and got shot down. Disbelief is the only word that comes to mind on how I felt. It did not destroy me, but it did slow me down for a minute. Thanks again Dean.

...when i do not know exactly what to do i ask myself "what's the best choice here?" or "what's the right action for the highest good of x?" keeping a calm and serene state inside brings me very good ideas! (for some reasons i do not always follow them and the future proves me i was wrong. )

Sooooo funny that this should be your weekly wisdom this week, and so funny that this just happens to be one of my favorite sayings that I have it on my facebook profile page. But my problem has always been just that. A very bad habit of procrasitination and over analyzing things. This past couple weeks have been very hard for me with sicknesses and hospitals and kid problems. But I now want to get back on track and make my first deal. Thankyou Dean!

Hope you had a wonderful Easter. Just want to thank you for your weekly words of wisdom!! You hit the nail on the head about over thinking and analyzing. I'm guilty of it and it keeps me from getting started in real estate. I'm going to stop thinking and start doing.

Is it fear? Over analysis? Probably a little of both. Great book though. Did alot of the leg work. Biz cards, deadicated phone. Even got the bandit signs but because no one else is using them (and they used too) I'm thinking there's an ordinance against them. This is where I froze. No buyers or sellers or money to lock up a contract so no deals. Books been sitting ever since. What a waste huh? SO close. So what should I "just do" next? Ummmm back to the book.....

For years now I have been over analyzing everything. We lost money on our first rehab so it has made us cautious. But after being part of the IE group it has become clear that our first experience in rehabbing has slowed us down because of fear of making another mistake. We know what we did wrong on the first one and have learned how not to do the same thing, but it has made us want to make sure we have everything correct before we do another deal. We have committed ourselves to follow your 30 day plan for a wholesale and to do the 25 to 1 and hopefully have a deal in place before The Edge. I just got some new signs and will be putting 25 of them out on Friday night for the weekend. Thanks Dean for all you do. My wife Bernadette says it is really nice of you to make Insider Elite available to almost everyone. It has done wonders for us.

Dean, do you believe what you say? So do I. Yes, I know what you said about hanging onto your job, but dude, this ain't working for me! The job is taking up too much time with too little financial rewards. Gotta scale back and focus on what I want. It's time I learn to faith walk and that's what I'm gonna do!

I haven't gotten over my own fears yet. I'm still standing at the edge of the pool. Reading the comments from the other members and listening to your weekly wisdoms has me understanding that I'm losing time. I need to get off the bench!!!

Thank-you for the reminder of over analyzing. I was working with a R.E. agent, putting in offers on a regular basis (did about 75 offers) and had yet to do 1 deal - needless to say, the agent went away so I found myself questioning what I was doing then not doing anything except analyzing every thing I did or was about to do...now just need to pick myself back up, dust the seat of pants off and start again.

Hello, #2 I've been watching WW posts since the live webcast on the 23 of March.Reading 30 Days download is very engrossing.Learning tools to make the first of my deals investing in real state.Making my first buy as an investor,makes more sense to me. The learning curve is high and the opportunities are .So thaaaaanks for the wisdom from your experience, I can use to concur the presumption of a beginner.
