Hi DG family.
I'm talking today to all of my family out here in the great state of Georgia, the greater Atlanta, and surrounding areas. I'm looking for a money partner. If you're ready to get started but you just don't have the drive to do the leg work, let me provide it. If you're not motivated, let's motivate each other. If you're willing and ready to help someone else, so am I. Let's partner up. Drop me a line and we'll have a great conversation. Together, we can do great things. God bless everyone.

House Bill 8 In Texas Has Been "Signed" By Governor Rick Perry
June 22nd, 2011 | posted by dianehilliardHello Fellow DG'ers:
To those that are not aware, this is to let you know that I contacted Governor Rick Perry's office today and he has officially "signed" the House Bill 8 "effective" June 17th, 2011, which was last "Friday".
So "officially" we can no longer "assign contracts" in the "State of Texas".
Dean, IF you read this post do you have any other suggestions?
"Transactional Funding" comes to my mind as maybe an alternative option. My real estate club President also says that we can still use "Option To Purchase Contracts".
I just wanted to make sure that those in the DG Family knows this, that have been assigning contracts in the State of Texas.

Please read my Profile: Edward P. Virginia Beach,Va.
Read Dean's Books over and over and have decided on the Assignment and/or Options to Purchase. Not really clear on how to fill out all the paperwork. Can someone help? Not sure where or if the Lease option to purchase includes the verbiage for me to sub lease the property to another person. Confused, scared, nervous and did I mention scared? I feel like the little train that could. Got to, got to, got to.
Any help would be appreciated.

ALERT: 2011 Texas House Bill 8 will affect your Real Estate Investing business
June 18th, 2011 | posted by dianehilliardHello:
I am an investor in the State of Texas. I received this information in my email today and was "quite" shocked. I am wondering IF any other Texas Investors are aware of this bill? IF the "Bill" is passed in Texas, investors can no longer wholesale or assign contracts in the State of Texas. It is my understanding that this bill is currently waiting for Governor Perry's approval and everyone else has approved this bill and "signed it".
Here's the link to read about this bill:

I really hope Governor Perry does not sign this bill.
